I go here at least once a week. The food here is amazing. And all the employees here are fast, professional, and clean. I like the taste of all their burgers, especially the cookout style regular burger. This burger is so delicious ….I be ready to hop in my car and go back to get another one. I’ll definitely recommended this cookout to anyone.

We frequent this cookout, however the last few times we’ve gotten it it has just been subpar. We wanted to give it another try, I ordered ranch chicken wraps and bacon wraps….this is what they looked like. Literally 2 pieces of lettuce, a sad squirt of ranch, and a couple pieces of cheese. For the bacon wrap they just put a piece of bacon or 2. There was no line, I was one of 2 cars there and waited a few minutes for the food, which I have no problem with. But when this is what I get….it’s just not worth the time or money.

I’m sorry but the fact that both orders have the same amount of fries when one is supposed to be double is absolutely terrible. Every time we get CookOut there’s always something wrong with the order or receiving horrible attitudes for no reason from the staff. The gentleman at the window was very nice tonight but the majority of the time we receive poor service even from higher ups. This is a perfect example of why we don’t go to CookOut anymore. We love the food and we used to get it at least once to twice a week but it’s really not worth the money anymore unfortunately. (Added review on Sept. 19) Shout out to cookout for always coming through with some how messing up my orders. Its honestly insane that y’all can’t get it right whether its only having 15 fries, a vanilla shake instead of a cappuccino shake, a burger that is missing a piece, or no burger at all when I ordered a quesadilla burger. At this point I have yet again lost out on money because neither me or my friend wanted what we received today.

Very disappointing new addition to the Havelock food scene. I tried a BBQ tray and it wasn’t very good. Weird meat, not Carolina Que. Cold, greasy fries. Rock hard hushpuppies. Watery slaw. Ick. Rumor has it the milkshakes are great, but I didn’t get one. The floats sounded yummy for summer treats.
The folks working there were quite nice. The rest rooms were clean. The tables were not clean at all. The food was crammed into a to-go box even though I ate there. What wastefulness.
I can’t recommend it for savory foods, but sweets may be their strength. I’ll update my review if I try some.

Counter waitress did not seem very happy to explain their menu or system, even after we told her it was our first time here. Food was okay, but not spectacular. Limited condiments and we had to ask for them- nothing was offered.

Well, I guess I will be checking my boxes before I leave the lot from now on. Came through the drive thru to get a BBQ sandwich tray with double* fries, and when I was told they ran out of BBQ when I ordered a second BBQ sandwich tray I was fine with ordering a cheeseburger instead. But once I made it back to my hotel for the night a couple towns over, I was disappointed to see that I received No fries at all in the one combo, not even a crumb or drop of grease, and only 3 onion rings for my side on the other. Not worth the drive back out to remedy possibly.
