Fantastic bar, restaurant and venue. My wife and I play here with our band “The Masons band” and it is such a great place to perform. The staff is great and the food is unbelievable. Best burgers around and the best chicken parm I ever had. Highly recommend coming here for dinner!

Food is terrible and the service isn’t that great either love the blues nights order a bowl of chili it’s really a cup ordered a pastrami sandwich with Swiss cheese They put a half a slice of Swiss cheese on it. Pastrami is burnt eat before you go. Waitresses are nice but they’re not attentive enough. Music is good atmosphere is nice The crowd is very mature on the blues nights. Can’t speak for any other night, but remember eat before you go there. Their food is terrible.

Decided to come here because I pass by every so often on a walk. Brought my book, chilled outside, drank some nice Vanilla Porter (three cheers for craft beers; they also have your standards on tap as well), and had a massive but well-cooked burger. The menu is pretty standard. A lot of sandwiches(or paninis) of different varieties, a burger, a sirloin, salads, and a few seafood choices. They had some 80s rock on the radio…not too loud, but not too soft either…just loud enough you could hear it without the song ringing through your head like the Bells of Notre Dame. Definitely a place I can make into a pleasant reading nook during the day when I come home from work looking for a cool place to chill out.

Arrived very late on Tuesday evening was sat at the bar 10 min b4 serving food but let my friend & I order. WE were pleasantly surprised.Food was fast and presented beautifully ,mine actually had an orchid flower top.

When we go to the South Amboy Cruise Night Car Shows we always go to the Blue Moon for dinner. The Food is good and the Beer is cold. Hits the spot. Our Waitress Priscilla is the Best. Ask for her, she’ll take good care of ya.
