Stopped in recently for lunch and had a great experience!

Pros:
Bread bowl clam chowder
Local home made root beer
Unusually good ice cream!
Friendly & engaging owner

Cons:
Nothing really, just an overall elevated experience for what was just going to be a lunch grab while on the road that turned into a memorable stop!

They also have rooms to rent, and from the way the bistro is run I’d imagine that is likely done with the same care as well.

Also, the visitor center parking lot & beach access is conveniently right across the street to stretch your legs (and walking off lunch) before hitting the road again.

We’ll make it a point of stopping in again next time we drive through!

Cozy little restaurant with a beautiful view of the ocean. The clam chowder in the sourdough bread bowl was positively scrumptious! Best we’ve ever had. We also ordered a very nice halibut sandwich and they had some delicious beers and ciders on tap. The proprietors were friendly and patient with our large group. Would absolutely eat there again.

Don’t be deceived from the outside appearance. The place is great. Has great beers available, the best clam chowder I’ve had on the coast yet , in fact I went across the street and had a bowl of clam chowder at the Red Fish and it wasn’t even close. Shoreline has excellent food, beer and well worth the visit. Sorry, didn’t take any food pics, but after having my fourth bowl of chowder along our drive, had to let ya all know, best chowder on the coast.

Drove by this unassuming restaurant and I’m so glad I turned back to dine in. I’m from the north east and this New England clam chowder was hands-down the best I’ve ever had in my life. The fish is fresh caught from the owners boat and you can absolutely tell. The fish was flaky, tender, and extremely delicious. Don’t forget the home made root beer in a frosted glass! I’m devastated I don’t live closer, this would absolutely be a place I would visit over and over for both the excellent food and service. Truly the best stop I’ve made on my PNW road trip!

Very nice humble place. We received great hospitality and service. We got the lingcod fish and chips and halibut bite, they were amazing. We also had the tuna sandwich very good wild caught. I also loved the coleslaw. Must try fish and chips.

The Shoreline Inn Bistro is a hidden gem in the quiet town of Port Orford. As soon as you open the door, the atmosphere is cool and inviting, beautiful ocean views and crisp clean smell.

Our hosts were warm and knowledgeable, making sure we knew all they had to offer. As soon as pulled pork was offered, I knew what I needed. I ordered the Garlic Slayer Cheese Curds (soooo goood),a Teriyaki Pineapple Burger and asked to add the pulled pork…heaven! The flavor was phenomenal. I topped that off with their in-house root beer and I was beyond satisfied. We left with their delicious lava cake and frankly, I’m ready for a nap after being filled with such deliciousness.

This will definitely become a regular spot for us!

This place has great fish and chips. And it’s affordable. Their sandwiches looked great too. They have many options on fries and on fish. I went with Lingcod. You can also add a few shrimp, they have several add on fried items. They have several beers on tap, they have full views of the ocean and rocks. Highly recommend. They also have Boba.

Great food, the lemon bar ice cream for dessert was the cherry on top. Owners made us feel right at home and were so nice to chat with, super friendly and full of personality. Also gave us some great tips on local places to visit along the coast

Stopped here on our way up the coast and it was legitimately one of the highlights of our trip. Fish and chips was fresh off the boat and the clam chowder was divine. Make sure to get the sourdough bread bowl or you will be doing yourself a disservice.

Hosts were funny and very attentive despite them being shorthanded.
