Absolutely loved our experience at Indian Tadka – Desi Dhaba!
The food is fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic — exactly what you crave when you want real Indian comfort food.

We tried the Butter Chicken, Chicken Biryani, Garlic Naan, and Aloo Paratha, and every single dish was spot on. Rich gravies, perfectly cooked meats, and spices that taste homemade, not rushed. You can tell a lot of care goes into the cooking.

The owners and staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Service was quick, portions were generous, and prices are very reasonable for the quality.

If you’re anywhere near I-40 or passing through Arkansas, this place is a must-stop. Easily one of the best Indian meals you’ll find in the area.
Will definitely be coming back and recommending it to everyone!

Ok, this place looks rough. Not a date nite destination. That said… This place is awesome. We were severed by Gary, the owner, and he was very patient, helpful, and friendly. But the food…OMG!! We ordered plain naan, butter chicken, lamb salad, and vegetable somosas with chaat. EVERYTHING was excellent compared to every other Indian restaurant in our area, including Little Rock. The naan was fresh and crispy and warm, the lamb saag was flavorful and the meat tender. The samosas were fresh and crispy and the chaat was so tasty. Also the portions were very generous. This is going to be a regular spot for us. Great job, Gary!!

My family has been here a few times before my post, so I can say there food has always been fresh and authentic tasting. Such awesome flavors! I do hope they offer more dairy free, coconut options but still great food. I’ve had many Indian dishes from different places in the world, this place may need an update esthetically but they have some of the best flavors in their dishes and their sauces that I’ve ever tasted! I appreciate the effort put into their food and hope their kids pass down the love of making great Indian dishes!

Very well done and authentic meal

Had lamb, goat and paneer. Meat dishes were superb and the paneer was exceptional

Obviously a hit with I-40 truck drivers. There seems to always be at least 2 or 3 trucks parked if they’re open

Pretty fortunate to have this gem close to the house. It’s on our go back often list for high quality takeout. Plenty of seating if you wanna eat there

We really weren’t sure what to expect here. We saw the billboard from the highway and pulled in the lot is mostly mud and clearly a favorite place for truckers. We both love Indian food and were willing to risk it and we were both so glad that we did! The food was really really good. We had chai that was hot and delicious, saag paneer and paranatha. All good, we will stop again on our way through

I’m very disappointed with my recent experience at Indian Tadka – Desi Dabha. A friend of mine ordered Aloo Parantha and Curry Pakora from here on June 8, 2025. First, there was hair in the parantha. Then, shockingly, a dead insect was found in the curry after half of it had already been eaten.

The person became sick and had to be admitted to the hospital due to vomiting and weakness. This is not just bad service — it’s a serious food safety issue.

Food inspectors should look into this immediately. I would strongly advise others to stay away from this restaurant until proper hygiene is guaranteed.

Another Gem on the I-40 fantastic food Chole Poori Dal Tadka and Chai to beat! Definitely recommend. Has me wondering what the are the established Indian Restaurants in cities doing they cannot seem to offer a decent Punjabi meal they could all learn something from this simplicity and warmth that this establishment brings .

Terrible service! The staff was rude and inattentive. I had to wait for ages to get food, and when it finally arrived, it was just tasteless and poorly cooked trust me I never had that type of dal and curry in my whole life I ordered chicken curry , dal makhni and garlic naan. Not worth the price.”
