I have seen this restaurant so many times, which is hidden between Petsmart and Publix, and only recently I managed to have dinner here. And this is an insanely delicious meal prepared by a wonderful woman chef. Also, book a table in advance, as it will be difficult to find a table after 5 p.m.

Did take out / pick up order, little bit pricy but overall food was good. 2 out of 5 dishes were OK, so giving 4 stars. Probably will not do take out again from here but will try sit down 1 day. Portions are not huge.

I go to Il Mercato every time I’m in Hallandale (a few times a year). They never fail to deliver. Delicious Italian home cooked food. A very cozy interior or a small exterior courtyard dining. The wait staff have been with them since years and they are efficient, friendly and attentive.
The food is always on the mark, delicious tomato sauce to accompany the dishes, fresh pasta for some of the plates.
Be sure to ask about the daily menu. The three brothers in the kitchen work together with timing and they love cooking. The owners are a wonderful couple who obviously love the business.

Super cute little Italian restaurant. Coming from two people that spent a lot of time in Italy this spring, it is certainly a hidden gem, in our opinions. Great food, wine, and service is impeccable. We sat at the bar, Andre was phenomenal! Love his knowledge of wines and great customer service! We will be back for sure!

My family of 4 went to an early dinner at il Mercato and we loved it! We have 2 little babies so we went right at 5 when they opened and had the entire place to ourselves! The food was amazing and the service was fast and friendly! They even gave us complimentary limoncello and gelato which we haven’t had since our honeymoon in Italy! Loved it and would recommend it to everyone 10/10 🙂
