Went there for Saturday lunch. Don’t want to be too harsh cause the guy was nice & prices are very reasonable but food taste is just decent. Ended up $50 before tip for 3 dishes (Banh mi chicken, pho rare beef & Bo bun) & 1 appetizer (fresh spring roll). Didn’t try they fruit teas or bubble teas.

Delicious food with generous portion sizes! The pho broth was flavorful, the spring rolls were crispy and well-seasoned, and the bubble tea was refreshing with lots of options (Brown sugar pearl milk tea and Fruit tea with strawberry popping pearls). Definitely a great spot for a comforting meal.

We usually come here for the beverages, and in terms of food I’ve only had the vermicelli noodle bowls. However, this was the first time having their pho noodle bowls and we were rather disappointed in the sweet broth. We’ve had our fair share of pho bowls throughout the GTA much to our delight, expecting savoury, salty rich broths. But to come to a local place and consume a sweet broth pho with nothing to balance it was off-putting. The provided lime and hoisin sauce did nothing to alleviate, and only made the flavour worse. I want to give the benefit of the doubt that perhaps our bowl wasn’t intended to be sweet, or simply this place prefers the broth that way.

That aside, the Fresh Spring Rolls with the pork filling came to stand out over the disappointing pho. Mixing the peanut butter and hoisin sauce together made to be a delicious addition.

The beverages stand to be the main takeaway of V Eatery, and with our most recent visit, that will continue to be what we come here for.

Small space and menu but more than enough options to cater to vegans. The bahn mi was delicious and everyone else enjoyed their meals. Great find after a long hike at the nearby conservation area.

Went to V Eatery for lunch, left feeling full and happy

We (4 people total) ordered pho bowls and rice dishes with appetizers. The pho broth was flavourful and the meat was very soft and tender. The chicken in the rice dish was seasoned nicely and portioned generously.

There is a vegan option for pho which is something I personally have not seen in Vietnamese joints here – great for those who would like to try authentic Vietnamese food while having diet restrictions.

The owner is very passionate about food and their culture – you can even see it by the style and ambiance of the restaurant. If you’re nearby the area, I suggest walking in even if it’s just to browse. Will definitely come back soon, can’t wait to see what V Eatery has to offer in the future!

I got stuck, in the front parking lot, while on my way to the doctor, due to Guelph Street being blocked off, by the police. I had pulled in, to turn around, but then couldn’t get out, again, because of the volume of traffic.

I went in and explained the situation, and the owner was so kind and understanding. He let me leave the car, while I walked over to the doctor’s office.

I promised him a great review, even though I haven’t eaten there (I have a condition that only allows me to swallow liquids and puréed foods. However, the restaurant smelled absolutely wonderful, and a couple who were eating there piped up with : “They deserve a great review!”, and thumbs up, so there you go!

When I am able to eat solid foods, again, I will definitely stop by, to try a few menu items.

The only pho option in all of Georgetown but a very good option at that. Have tried many items on the menu and have yet to be disappointed or not satisfied. The beef ribs rice dish is exceptional. If you are looking for a pho spot in Georgetown this place won’t disappoint, also having a bubble tea menu is very convenient as well.

My family (17 of us) went here after a big snow storm and the food was just what we needed; warm, cozy and delicious. Started with calamari and spring rolls, then pho and rice dishes and bubble tea and even took home bahn mi.
