We went around lunch time on Friday, and there was plenty of open seating. The hostess/waitress was nice and attentive to our needs, the atmosphere was chill and beautiful, the place was clean, the music wasn’t too loud, and you could see a view of Quarry Lake from the back deck, although it wasn’t super visible past the parking lot. The bar area is cool as it opens up to the outside from the inside as well. We ordered a Margarita, Chips and Salsa/Green Sauce, Kids Tacos with ground chuck and waffle fries, and the Piggyback Shrimp Tacos with a side of French Onion Soup. My kids ate their whole plate, and I definitely recommend the Shrimp Tacos and French Onion Soup, it was very flavorful and fantastic! I had no clue this place even existed until I saw it on the maps next to Roaring Fork, and it’s definitely a place worth visiting. The menu has all sorts of items on it and they all look absolutely delicious, I can’t wait to be back for more!

I brought a group of 14 people to this restaurant. I called 10 minutes ahead of time, and they were able to get us in right away and had a table ready in the back when we arrived. We ordered a couple appetizers (bandito fries, guac, and queso), and they were all tasty. I had a burrito bowl, and it was a generous portion and good meal. Price is slightly more to add protein, and it was tricky at first to get the bill split since we did not discuss ahead of time, but eventually we figured something out.

I got the steak and mashed potatoes. Delicious food, the butter on top was sooooo herby. Mashed potatoes were very flavorful and fresh. We came on karaoke Saturday and it is a great vibe. Will be coming back. Jennifer was our server and she was so nice.

Vida Verde is a fantastic place for anyone craving vibrant Mexican food in a fun, colorful atmosphere. The tacos were packed with fresh ingredients, the guacamole and chips tasted homemade, and the margaritas were excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe made the experience really enjoyable.

Overall, Vida Verde is definitely worth a visit—great flavors, great drinks, and a great vibe. I’ll definitely be back!

I was craving a sizzling carne asada and we found this place. Ordered the carne asada fajita and what I got was more like a Chinese stir fry. I was confused.

I also asked the server about the corn, if it was on the cob and she said yes. So I ordered it. It was not on the cob, it was canned corn served in a bowl.

The one win was their very freshly made guacamole that they were able to make without jalapeño so our kids could enjoy it. We did appreciate that.

One small aside, I can’t stand when restaurants hang a bunch of fake plants. They just collect dust. Why not just hang real plants? They clean the air and look nicer.

Over all the experience left me feeling like this place is having to cut corners to save money. Not my kind of spot.

What a fabulous little gem near the Domain! I dropped by for a Sunday morning breakfast on a recent visit to Austin and was completely blown away by the food. I had gotten in before they got busy and hence the service was lightning fast!

The chilaquiles are a chef’s kiss! I ordered them with some over medium, sunny side up eggs, chorizo, and hashbrowns instead of rice and beans! The sauteed chips were so tender and flavorful, and the chorizo added the perfect spicy, tangy kick. Paired up with some freshly squeezed orange juice, it was the best breakfast I have had at a restaurant in a while! Last but not the least, they had a killer playlist too! Can’t wait to go back again!

Thank you Vida Verde for an AWESOME lunch! In town from Nashville for a soccer match and after looking at reviews we landed on Vida Verde. What a win I got the Avacodo tacos and my husband landed on the fish tacos…so yummy. Our waiter recommended the harvest guacamole and it was served with fresh made thick corn chips. Everything was extremely fresh and nothing disappointed. Austin locals don’t miss this spot…I promise, delicious

This is a wonderful place for a meal.

The staff was attentive and the vibes were great.

The food is ok…not exceptional, but not bad.
The appetizers were amazing. For a main I had the steak, which was tough. And for dessert I had the tres leches, which tasted and smelled like the fridge.

All in all my service, ambiance, and my companions made this a fun night.

This spot is a hidden gem! It’s new and a bit tucked away, so it was pretty empty. My family and I came here for a birthday and were very satisfied, the food was great and the staff was so polite and welcoming.
The only downside was the mimosa options $12 per person plus $2 just to add a splash of flavored juice feels overpriced. A bottomless mimosa or carafe option would be a much better value.
Overall, though, we really enjoyed it and I’d definitely come back!

We went on a Monday around 2pm. Not many people there. We sat on the patio since we had our pup with us. Dog friendly was a huge plus, great views of the little lake as well. They play amazing music, great service, and the food was delicious! We got the queso fundido, smothered tamales and barbacoa enchiladas. I can’t comment on the drinks since we didn’t get any as we were headed back to Fort Worth. Overall 10/10
