Came here for the DineLA menu, we had the sashimi set dinner which is $65, it came with 3 amuse-bouche, soup and a giant plate of sashimi. The quality of the seafood is really excellent, with many different cuts of tuna and other fishes, scallops, uni and more. I did not except to be this full for a sashimi dinner. The lychee sherbet is excellent as well. Service is amazing and I feel bad because we were one of the last table left but they didnt rush us out. Overall amazing place and would come back for the regular meal.

It isn’t cheap, but overall it was a wonderful omakase experience. I’ll skip the usual classics and highlight a few standouts: simmered whelk shellfish marinated in dashi, silky chawanmushi (savory dashi egg custard), barracuda, Hokkaido sea urchin, kohada (gizzard shad), and nodoguro (sea perch).

Easily one of the best sushi places I have ever been to. This is the only sushi restaurant that I have been to that has proper sushi eating etiquette on their menu, showing that they really respect their craft. We got the premium sushi dinner and every single item was incredible. The fish was so fresh and just melts in your mouth. You can really taste the quality and care put into making the top tier sushi.

Although I was really not satisfied with my waitress’ professionalism, I don’t want to deny this sushi restaurant’s endeavor because of this issue.
This sushi restaurant has the best sushi rice “shari” blended with excellent proprietary vinegar I ever tasted in the US so far. They also process their topping “neta” very well as too.
I wish they could be aware one of their waitress had professionalism issue because this can hurt their perception and ruin their effort.
Overall, I still recommend this place.

This place was amazing, their fish was so fresh and tasted like no other sushi I’ve ever had. It really set the standard on my expectations on sushi when it comes to the quality and the service as well. Our chef was super friendly and made sure my accommodations were provided. I will definitely be coming back

Visited during a busy evening and waited about 30 minutes to be seated. Once at the table, the service completely fell apart. The server never checked back, and even basic items like ginger and wasabi required flagging someone down.
Additional food was ordered, but part of the order never arrived. Instead of fixing the issue, the waitress cleared the table and the attitude felt dismissive.
The ambiance was loud and chaotic, nothing intimate or enjoyable. Left a tip even though it wasn’t deserved. This place clearly can’t handle busy nights.

Got there as they opened and there was a line but got seated 5 mins later. Service was excellent and the food was amazing. We had cawanmushi and then the lunch sashimi. Delicious. Will be back. Iced green tea only $3 with unlimited refill

Wanted to try a new sushi spot and had Sushi Kisen on my list of places to try. So happy we did. They had two of my favorites, which is very rare for places east of the 110 fwy. Awabi (abalone) and mirugai (giant clam). Pricy, but was expected. Our dishes were generally good to great and very fresh. We had so many, types of fish it was a bit hard to track. Service was average to poor though. We were greeted quickly and with a smile, but went down hill from there. Our server didn’t seem like she wanted to be there that night. It was very warm and temps inside were warm, so maybe that was the cause, but it’s not like I caused that :(.

Sit at the bar with Omasake, it was great experience. The baby squid was amazing, Me and my business friends were hesitated to try, it was actually VERY GOOD!
And the sushi chef prepared was top notch, you could have spend a lot more in some big cities.
So it’s a really value choice and I can see us coming back soon.
