Really solid all around, huge portions, good food and even better sauce! Exactly what I was looking for and so great they’re a local business. Just look at how stuffed this veggie burrito is beyond the food, it was just a great value. Will absolutely order again soon!

Family-run for 40 years. The most authentic Sonoran-style Mexican food. The carne asada is marinated for days, and the handmade tortillas are divine. Portions are huge and prices are fair. The patio is festive with string lights. The horchata is a must. Always a warm welcome.

Went here over the weekend for dinner, my boyfriend and I got the same thing. We ordered the tampiqueña plate, best tampiquena ive had in a while. The salsas are good as well, good flavor and spice to them. Our server was very nice and friendly too.

Awesome little spot with great prices. Authentic flavor and a very hard working waitress. It was busy and she was the only server. I work in fine dining and seeing her work multiple positions was incredible. Thank you for the great meal and service friends at La Casita Restaurant!!

We are traveling in town and wanted to get a nice bite to eat after a long day out on the town. When googling, we seemed this place was almost too good to be true because of the such high reviews. After getting seated, the three dips were pretty good, but the chips were a bit stale. I asked the waiter if they sold queso, and he said yes and said that they have one with meat, or one with beans, so I ordered the one with beans because I really like refried beans. The “queso” came out and it was just straight refried beans and melted shredded cheese with a ton of oil that was built up on the side. I also ordered the chimichanga and it was just filled with straight “ground beef” with seemingly nothing else in it. I also never got a price of the “queso” because it was not on the menu and once paying for my tab, it was more than my entire chimichanga. All of this on top of the bland guacamole makes my entire party deciding to not ever come back to this establishment. Hope they can get the problems fixed.

This place is on point. Been coming here since it was El Gordo. Here now. Food is just as good as before.

Service was attentive and friendly. I had the mixed seafood soup. Had delicious and potatoes. No zucchini and basic. The broth was flavorful but had only talipia, squid and shrimp. No snow crab legs nor mussels. The rice is very good. Please add margaritas. It’s been a year or longer that we’ve been waiting for your liquor license. Could be hopping with strawberry, premium, mango, Pina coladas…Salsa is very good..chips were stale. Guacamole is good and basic..needs a little spark. Overall..this new management is friendly but needs to add that little extra..little more attention to detail…

We got the A La Mexicana (worst “steak” I’ve ever had), Enchiladas (absolute train wreck & overbearing smokiness), Arroz y Frijoles (they forgot the beans) and Queso Fundido? (So hard you had to cut it with a knife – even after trying to reheat it). On top of the poor quality, the price for 2 meals with a side of beans and not queso (with no chips) was $60. I don’t know if someone new was working there or if there was a disgruntled employee, but I have no idea how this place has as high of a rating as it does.
