We drove up for a HS football game and wanted a quick dinner before the game. We had very good burgers, made on toasted bakery buns. We were able to upgrade our chips to side salads which were fresh- greens with onions and tomatoes.We ordered the garlic parm bone in chicken wings- they were covered in parm and were served in a bed of buttery-garlic. They were pretty good. Our waitress was very attentive to our table, food came out in good time and drinks were kept full. A man working from the bar side bid us goodnight as we left. Nice small town hospitality! If we make it to Aurora again, we’d stop again.

First time here. We came on a Fish Friday. Some of us had the Combo (fish/shrimp), I had just the fish (pic in post). Dianna was our waitress and is amazing! Oh, and the fish was hot, fires were hot, and Dianna was attentive on our refill of fish and dips. Great experience and will be back

Food was good…. but holy cow they’re spendy!! A $1.50 for a side of sour cream? Yikes!!! We spent over $50 between two adults and a kid. No drinks from the bar, either… I had a breakfast burrito with tots. It had to be over $15 just for that. We could get lunch at Grandma’s for that!!
Edit: The owner contacted me and found the problem with the extra costs for sides (salsa +sour cream). She made a correction and offered a free item for our next visit. Good customer service.

Really nice bar and restaurant. The bar is nicely set up, but the restaurant is fairly sparce. Chicken wings were fantastic. Staff were friendly and the service was quite quick. Nice small town place.

Awesome food and even better service! So friendly and inviting. Very reasonable portions and prices. The dining area could use some work, it’s outdated and needs more separation from the rowdy bar area. Small detail though, they knock everything else out of the park! Will be back!

Fish Fry Friday. My fiancé and I were in last Friday 4/29/2023. You could tell right off the bat that they 3-4 gentlemen working the whole restaurant were a bit overwhelmed. Lots of tables and not many servers. BUT they were super friendly, quick, and very attentive. Great job guys. The food was AWESOME and such a great price for the AYCE fish and shrimp. It was cooked perfectly tasted so good. Only minor complaint we had was the baked potatoes were rather dinky and dried out. May have been a bad batch of taters, but the fish quickly made up for that. We will be back!

We originally found Rudy’s while looking for some healthier options around the area and their salads looked promising. Now we’re in danger of becoming regulars! The salads are way better than your average “bar food”, they actually use a spring green mix so it’s not just a lump of iceberg lettuce on a plate, plus the variety of options and toppings are fantastic, including the choice of grilled chicken which you can tell is made fresh to order. We’ve tried several sandwiches (Rueben, Club) and wraps, and lots of the appetizers. Everything has been fresh and great quality! Hands down my favorite menu item though has to be the Nashville Hot dry rub wings (bone-in), always nicely crisp wings and the flavor is a perfect balance of spice and flavor so we get these virtually every time we go. I also really appreciate that it’s always clean, well lit, has a reasonable volume (no loud TVs blaring over the conversation) and there are lots of seating options from standard bar stools to hightops to sit down tables in back. Cap it all off with a super friendly team, usually Chad or Bridget up front at the bar or Nick who has helped us with larger groups in back.
Overall, can’t say enough positive things about Rudy’s!

We frequent this bar & grill quite often. The all you can eat fish and shrimp on Friday nights is amazing! Also, you can’t beat the the Thursday night burger night…and let’s not forget the the awesome happy hour!!! We love this place!!! Everyone should stop in when you’re passing through!!

We’re new to town and have had a great experience with Bridget. One time we brought our younger girls in and tonight it was just me and the husband. We had a different server ( it was her second day) so she was a little slower but we still had a great experience 10/10 recommend
