My husband and I wanted to try something different. We should have turned around and left. The greeter was rude. Waived for us to just go set. The waitress came over and gave a menu. It was not for the bbq part. I explained we wanted the bbq part. She moved us and I asked please be patient this is new so we don’t know how it works. Our waitress spoke very little English which is fine however we couldn’t fully get what we should do. We basically just guessed. It was not good at all. We watched other people come in and set where we were and they had the bbq. I thought why did we have to move. We finally just asked for our check. 27.99 a person and we didn’t even have hardly anything. The price doesn’t matter if it’s good and helpful staff. Won’t be back

Took my son there, he had been seeing it all over social media. The service was amazing and my drink was never empty. The broth was lacking flavor. The spicy broth somehow had no flavor but definitely could feel the spice. While i did not enjoy it, my son had an absolute blast. He highly recommends the crab ragoons

I don’t know why the reviews are so split. We tried Hot Pot for the first time tonight. It was wonderful. Lots of choices to choose from, food was wonderful. A lovely quiet environment, and an experience. The flavors are not bland you make your meal what you want with ingredients and sauces.

Overall just really disappointing for 40$ and yes they do mark things up at paying my receipt said 33.44 and I was gonna leave a 20% tip which is 6.10 and totals to 39.54 yet when I paid all of a sudden it was 7 for 20% and my card was charged for 41. It is small but they have a “20%” charge for wasted food and it allows them to change it however they feel since they dont speak fluent English people usually just give up like I did I imagine. For the price everything was meh do not recommend.

Worst experience at a restaurant so far. My friends got there before me and asked for a table for 5, they gave them a table for 4 instead for some reason. The waitress barely spoke 5 words to use and just made noises. She dropped off our paper for food option and then left, she didn’t put down nicely or picked it up nicely, it felt she was slamming it down and snatching the paper most times . She gave us drinks but we also had to keep flagging her down to get refills through out the whole meal since she would be gone for long periods of time before checking again. While cooking some food on our grill she showed up and started piling our food on the grill without asking and then left without saying anything to us at all, We were trying to pace ourselves. When she brought out the check, she just put everything on one check when we needed to split and left, so we had to flag her down again to split it properly since she didn’t ask how we wanted to pay at all.One friend wasn’t happy with the service and decided not to tip and she started gesturing at the receipt right away basically saying where’s my tip? Which is just rude. When the restaurant was kind of full she was to busy to notice us besides suddenly appearing and putting our food on the grill without asking but when it was empty she just kept watching us from across the restaurant not helping even when we had empty glasses and making us uncomfortable and felt like she was trying to force us out. I noticed a review saying they don’t like dark skin customers and tbh they might be right since we were a group of 3 African Americans and 2 Hispanics. I will most likely not come back because of this experience

Food is pretty decent but the staff is terrible. Some of the translations for the different noodles are incorrect and have not been fixed in the few months from I since went.
If you are a party larger than 10 they still only give one piece of paper to choose your food for the all you can eat hotpot so it’s quite a hassle marking everything. They do not listen to you if multiple people at the table want the same thing so expect only one portion of that meat/vegetable to come out per round.
The same issue arises if only one person at the table wants a specific meat/vegetable. They will bring out a full portion even if you try to request a smaller amount to accommodate one person.
If you are able to, I highly recommend Hotpot 88 on 132nd and Center or K-Pot in Village Point that should be opening sometime soon.
