Perfect small town kitchen. Everything about this place was homey from the furniture to the service. Out waitress was really helpful and took care of us quickly, offering opinions. The food was great. I got the country fried steak, it was served with gravy on the side, made it perfect for dunking not just the steak but the home fries too. Husband order the burger and eggs, he loved it, cooked well and good portion but he did add grits as it didn’t come with a side. We will be back when we visit and hope we can snag that fireside seat.

My server Lily was awesome and super friendly! I got the apple fritter, scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese and a fruit cup. The apple fritter was absolutely amazing! So rich and sweet. The scrambled eggs were also great and the fruit cup was very fresh! I highly recommend this place!

A Must-Try in Ellijay!
Cornerstone Cafe is cozy and has a wonderful atmosphere, but be warned: they are very busy on Sunday—come early! Despite the crowd, the service was great. Our food did take a little while, but it was absolutely worth the wait. Everything was delicious and served hot. Highly recommend.

Corner Stone is a small corner diner that needs a large parking lot. The food is quality southern cooking to near perfection, with biscuits made for royalty. Seat yourself after entering the small front door (wheelchair-bound may have an issue). The walls are covered with memorabilia and cute sayings. The large TV plays animal videos to make you laugh, and the shop has two small but clean bathrooms. The prices are fair, and the breakfast plate combos are intelligently built on things people actually want to eat.
The waitresses are kind and very concerned with making your experience pleasurable. The drinks could use a lot less ice. More than two sips from a large glass filled with mostly ice would be nice. The food was served fast, which related to being hot and fresh. The grits are creamy but still need at least one butter added. My only displeasure was the gravy ,which had no sausage in it ,and somewhat bland taste outside the light dosing of pepper. The biscuit made for the gravy was fantastic.
Parking is difficult in Ellijay so get there early amd be prepared to walk a ways to get there. There are many ships to oeruse along the way but this Cafe’ is worth the stop if your in town.

We would come back just for the great service! Our server and the owner were incredibly kind and accommodating for us with our dogs. The food was just what we were looking for before a long trip- filling, tasty, and a great value. The biscuit stack was so fluffy and deliciously smothered in gravy! The interior was warm and cozy, and between the ambiance and staff we felt so welcomed.

Katy, our server was nice and pretty efficient. The food was delivered to our table one or two at a time. The dishes seemed to be made one by one. I had the quiche, it was fine, smaller than I was expecting. The fruit cup was okay. There were eight of us and they seated us no problem, they do not allow individual tickets. One of us had to pay the whole bill and then everyone paid that person back.

You can’t get more North Georgia Local than the Corner Stone Café in #EllijayGA located in historic downtown. The food, atmosphere and the staff were absolutely wonderful! We had breakfast, but they serve lunch and dinner (on select nights) also. You have to try them out!

We are from out of town and wanted a chill brunch/ breakfast spot and this place was so good! The food was amazing, very fresh and came out very fast! Our server Cheyanne was amazing, very friendly. The music was also great. 10/10 recommend eating here! I would put photos of out food but we ate it so fast (lol).
