Teeshia’s came highly recommended by a trusted foodie so yesterday I decided to give it a go. Ordered the Salmon Club and was far from disappointed. The seasoning was so unique and fresh, it had my tastebuds feeling like a childhood memory with pop rocks. A party in my mouth! There’s spice to it for all of you who can’t handle it. Not too much heat, but definitely noticeable. Had to mellow it out with the potato salad that tasted like I went to my family reunion…made with love.
There’s only 1 pasta salad I’ve ever vouch for and was nervous, but she convinced me and I am so glad! The pasta salad has that same heat, but the flavor is just so irresistible. I look forward to eating it again and again!
I was so pleased I came back the very next day to try the Steak Philly. Although the salmon is my fav so far, the Philly still had a hearty flavor. One recommendation would be to put the sauce on the top as the bottom was so soggy that it just fell out. Still fulfilling . Would have preferred fries instead of chips, but after the first couple of bites it didn’t even matter.

I finally had a chance to experience Teeshia’s Sandwiches & Scoops. I had some difficulty finding the shop, the signage is not very visible from parking lot.. it’s sort of in the cut. I entered to find a couple different nostalgic decor flows going .. black, white, and pink ice cream decorated walls..with red metal tables and chairs in a small dining area. I was greeted by a cashier, not sure if this was Teeshia. I ordered the Rueben and original banana pudding. The cashier jokingly inquired “ you don’t wanna try my strawberry banana pudding?… it’s good”. I declined as this is my first visit and I’m really excited to try the original version first. After getting my receipt and sitting in the dining section, I noticed I have been charged $1.11 for a carry out bag. I have to admit I was taken aback by this nominal fee. I’ve not ever encountered this fee in Raytown or at a sandwich shop. I would’ve still placed the order. However, informing the customer of this fee would be helpful and a welcomed courtesy. Might I suggest a visible sign so all customers are aware prior to ordering. Because it was 30 minutes to close I planned to carryout. I found the Rueben to be exceptional. The pastrami was fresh, tender, and perfectly sliced.. bread, sauerkraut, and dressing all came together for a delicious sandwich. The gentleman there on 2/27 at 4pm .. chef’s kiss.. well done sir. The original banana pudding, for me.. it was a 6/10. I imagine this could be due to the end of the week, it wasn’t quite as fresh as some reviews suggested. I’m a huge banana pudding fan.. I’ll definitely be willing to try again maybe closer to the freshly made date. Banana pudding’s staying fresh can be a little tricky sometimes. Overall, my experience was positive. I’m always happy to support the locals. Oh, once I received my order I realized my food came in a black gift bag .. paper bag with handles, yes … like a real gift bag. Perhaps this is the reason for the small bag fee for carrying out. Again, I’ll plan to stop in again soon to try some other food choices. Chicken Caesar Salad was SCRUMPTIOUS! Reuben was DIVINE! Potato salad was yummy as well! It was one if not THE BEST Reuben I have EVER had! Portions are phenomenal, pricing is so fair. They also have ice cream as well as a few other desserts! Their blueberry lemonade was so refreshing! I absolutely WILL be back! Go support this business, you won’t be disappointed!

Stopped in here while in town for an event. Had a philly with jerk chicken instead of beef and it was incredible. Bread was toasted perfectly. The chicken was delicious. Not too spicy for those worried about the heat. Didnt get a chance to try the ice cream, but the banana pudding was amazing. I recommend stopping by this place and trying it out. The family who runs this place are very nice and definitely know what they are doing. Will be coming back next time I am in town.

I had the Salmon sandwich and it was incredible! Fresh, firm, and full of flavor. Sauce has a perfect amount of kick. Will 100% be back! This place changed my mind about dining in Raytown.

First of all, customer service is TOP TIER. Secondly, if yall looking for a really good homemade lemonade definitely have to try theirs. The Strawberry lemonade was amazing. Lastly, the food yall, I mean THE FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! Really chefs kiss. I had the salmon club and it was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of seasoning and everything. If yall looking for a new sandwich spot then I say 10/10 HIGHLY recommend! Mind you this is my first impression and I can’t wait to go back.

A few coworkers and I tried Teeshia’s Sandwiches and Scoops in Raytown for lunch for the first time, and it absolutely exceeded expectations. It’s truly a hidden little gem. The food quality was excellent and the prices were more than fair for the portions and freshness you get. I ordered the Lunchbox lunch special and it was fantastic. Everyone at the table ordered something different, and every single meal was a hit. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food. We’ll definitely be adding this spot into our regular lunch rotation.

I got the 80z potato salad , Salmon club, the tuna deluxe, the chicken club, the paradise pasta salad, and the sweet carrot cake.
All are I ordered Uber eats and they sealed everything very nicely. Including silverware without me asking.
Apparently they were out of the pasta salad and since I already paid they gave me an extra Salmon club that is popular. Which I appreciate.

OMG, her food is so great…! I’m so happy we are so close to her. I ordered a hot sandwich (chicken breast, turkey bacon) brioche bun was dressed with a very flavorful sauce, and the chicken breast was thoroughly cooked but not tough! It was tender & juicy. Her pasta salad includes all kinds of ingredients and it just comes together so well..! Even if you don’t like the celery, with this salad you’ll get to like them which is cut in perfect size pieces. The ribbon pasta was cooked until right after al-dante, perfect!!
