I absolutely love Makebs and I’ve gone to several of your locations. I specifically go because you have the best bagels around and I’m from up north. But every Saturday I go to the market and I order an egg bagel, not toasted with cream cheese and butter. I live on Clematis Street so I bring it home with me and when I get back every single time it has no cream cheese. This has happened at least three times now. I pay extra for the product that I’m not receiving. I just got back from the market on 11/15 and this bagel had no cream cheese on it. I believe my order number was 443 today. Some of the girls at the market, they do know who I am since I consistently order the same thing.

I ordered the Asiago bagel with cream cheese bacon cheese and egg. it was a huge sandwich and very delicious I couldn’t eat it all and yassss the bagels are soft and fresh. Sorry I ate the sandwich before I could take a picture
The only thing I did not appreciate was I have been coming here and referred my coworkers to come
They did not offer a reward card to me but haven’t coworkers one who were not of the same ethnic background I had to state they gave my coworker who I referred there a card to finally receive a card. However I feel they should fix this issue I have been here many times and inspite of the unfairness I still patronized their business

Stopped by Makeb’s Bagels and was seriously impressed. The bagels are fresh, flavorful, and made just right — not too heavy, not too soft. You can tell they use quality ingredients.

I haven’t been to the new location. I used to frequent the previous location next door to the Pizza shop.
The food was always good but I can substantiate the counter staff having zero personality and at times attitude bordering on rude.
I always just delt with it because they were convenient, but life would be better for all involved if we just treated each other with some warmth.
Tips would likely improve too. Just saying…..

Makebs single handedly feeds my household probably 3/7 days of the week. You will see this place filled with every local on their way to work or at the green market. I can’t get enough of their Jalepeno cheddar bagels. They are the perfect softness and toast-ness to a bagel that I love and the spice of the jalepeno is just enough to replace the need for Chalula! I’m very picky about my bagel, needs to be soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. I tried 3 type of bagel they had and man I wish I bought more, cause I’ve never in my life have I had a bagel where it was cooked just right and you get a buck for your money too. I highly recommend anyone to give this bagel shop a try. Everyone will have there own preference on bagel however I’d sure want to come back here and get more for bagels to make sandwiches, bites, or enjoy it with my coffee.
