Everything was absolutely delicious. By far my favorite seafood place in El Paso. The aguachile, tostadas, and ceviches are incredible, and the tacos are amazing. The drinks are also very good—especially the Maritime Martini. Such a unique and different spot with bold flavors and a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommend!

We stumbled upon Lapa Lapa while searching for good seafood and walked away with a new favorite spot. From the second we walked in, the energy was vibrant, the staff was friendly, and the drinks were top-tier. The mixologist clearly knows what they’re doing because every cocktail hit the mark.
But let’s talk about those oyster shots. Hands down, the best I’ve ever had. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with just the right kick. They were so good we almost ordered a second round before our food even arrived.
Then came the main dishes, and wow. Every bite was a flavor bomb. You can taste the pride they take in their seafood. Perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and seasoned like they’re cooking for royalty. The portions were generous without sacrificing quality, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable for the level of food we were getting.
Lapa Lapa isn’t just a seafood joint, it’s a full experience. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop in. Major props to the whole crew for creating something this good. We’ll definitely be back!!!!

It was my first time there and I was fully impressed with the food and the service. I went for lunch at the Northeast location. Was greeted and kindly served by Andy. Very attentive and knowledgeable. I had the grilled fish filet and the entire meal was just wonderful. Too bad I had to go back to work, but I’m definitely going back there real soon.

They must have a specialized chef because the food is outstanding! Great seafood, amazing aguachile with real limes and balanced flavor, tasty spicy sauces, refreshing cocktails! I loved the seafood tower, salmon tiradito, carne seca. It also has great music, ambience and service, will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful dinner date at Lapa Lapa in the Northeast on June 13, and I couldn’t wait to share my experience! First, I want to highlight our amazing server, Jocelyn. It was our first time at this restaurant, and we were a bit unsure about what to order. Jocelyn did an excellent job describing the menu and guiding us through the various options.
We kicked things off with the oyster shots—absolutely fantastic! Next, we tried the Clamato with carne seca, which was equally amazing. When our food arrived, my partner ordered two shrimp quesadillas, a sirloin steak taco, a beer-battered fish taco, and the Lapa taco. Hands down, my favorite was the Lapa taco, but every taco was exquisite! I opted for the grilled fish, which was delicious as well.
We were thoroughly impressed with the incredible flavors and can see why the place is always busy. This is truly a must-try restaurant! I’m looking forward to many more visits and trying everything on the menu. And let’s not forget the chips and salsa—delicious!
Lastly, the service was excellent and fast. Jocelyn made our visit even more enjoyable with her patience and detailed explanations of the menu.

The menu is interesting. This place is not for those who do not like seafood. Virtually every option aside from dessert is seafood. The flavors are really good and definitely not the same old same old with a different logo. Very exotic recipes, and if you’re looking for a dish that you have probably never tasted, this is a good spot. The only real thing that I did not enjoy was that almost all the food we ordered both appetizer and entrée was way over salted. The salt was so heavy that it was completely overwhelming the other flavors, in fact you would have thought that it was done on accident instead of intentionally the only problem is that when it’s in multiple dishes like that you know it’s not an accident. I couldn’t really eat more than a couple of bites of 3 different picks and when we brought it to the attention of the server, she simply said she’d let the cook know and that was it it was never taken off of the check or anything so we basically paid for a bunch of food that we didn’t even eat. Had this simple thing been corrected and the cook wasn’t trying to serve us dishes of straight sodium, and the server realized that it probably wasn’t cool to let customers pay for dishes they don’t/can’t even eat…it would have been a great restaurant experience….

My visit to Lapa Lapa left me with mixed feelings. On the positive side, the drinks were affordable and had a good kick, although they were on the sweeter side. The ceviche was a standout dish, featuring fresh fish and a pleasantly generous serving size that exceeded my expectations. However, the quesadilla was disappointingly overpriced and smaller than anticipated. The service and kitchen speed were also lacking, as they were both noticeably slow.

Great service. Our waitress was dressed as toad for Halloween, and was very pleasant. Wasn’t a fan of the calamari; it was a lil tough, and the whole black bass; I didn’t know it was deep fried. My fingers were dripping w oil. Tried all the tacos n were pretty good.

For a lunch date, my better half and I decided to try Lapa Lapa and we weren’t disappointed .
The staff was friendly and the overall look of the restaurant is very nice.
We ordered an alcoholic drink each. My bf had the ‘Ocean Mojito’ and I had the ‘Blue Whale’. Very good a bit on the sweet side but still very good.
For an appetizer, we had the Octopus Chicharrón . It was delicious! I’ve had octopus before that was overcooked and I was expecting this to be the same but I was wrong! Very good . While we ate this appetizer, we were offered a Shrimp Consomé, which was warm and very profuse on the shrimp flavor.
For our main dishes, my bf had the LAPA tacos and I had the Sirloin tacos. Everything was good on the flavor and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Safe to say, we will be back again for a future visit!
