Hidden gem alert! Dongbei Cuisine is hands down one of the best Chinese spots I’ve found around here. The food tastes super authentic — just like homemade comfort food. Every dish is packed with flavor, and the portions are huge!
My favorites are the Guo Bao Rou (crispy sweet & sour pork) and Di San Xian (eggplant, potato, and pepper stir-fry) — both are amazing. The staff are friendly and always make you feel welcome, and the place is clean and cozy.
If you’re craving real Northeastern Chinese food, this place is 100% worth checking out. Definitely coming back again soon!

Dongbei is the Northeastern region of China, and this restaurant features some of the most iconic dishes special to that region.
My folks and I visited their location (inside the food court near the JusGo market) recently, and I was very pleasantly surprised by how authentic their Dongbei dishes are!
I especially like any one of their stew dishes, which remind me of how many grandmother from Dongbei used to make them—hearty and generous in portions, and makes you feel very nourished.
Strongly recommend Braised Pork with Vermicelli stew— savory and tender meat atop of well marinated glass noodles, pairs well with a bowl of white rice!
This place is an awesome find, as it offers a refreshing perspective to how diverse the Chinese cuisine actually is, as most people are only exposed to southern Chinese food, so it’s really nice knowing that this restaurant gives people an opportunity to give the northeastern Chinese food a try, because it stands in its own unique category!
