Im going to be so honest, the sweet potato fries were the best things I’ve ever experienced in my life. I have no clue how they were that perfect, crunchy outside and creamy sweet potato, but they were so so so good. The burgers here were great! They have a nice variety of options that are all reasonably priced. I had the Negley burger and my husband had the smash burger and they were both delicious! The portions were also generous and the fresh cut fries hit the spot. Thank you for a great meal!!

The smash burger is so good, it’s the burger of the month so it’s temporary, but I spoke to the staff and they said they were thinking about making it a permanent menu item. I think this place legitimately has the best burgers in Pittsburgh and the people here are so nice. Highly recommend if you’re thinking of going somewhere after spending the day at the park.

Many reviews of Applewood Smoke Burger Company use the term “hidden gem”, and I have to say that I agree. I’m shocked I didn’t know about this place sooner but I found it while wanting to go out to eat and I am so glad I did! All the staff were super nice and helpful, even though the inside definitely has that older bar feeling, that’s a good thing in my opinion (and it’s clean too!). Everyone I ate with loved their food, I had a burger with blue cheese and regular fries, it was all fantastic and fairly priced. Support this business!!
