I had gone there prior when Sam was owning it- but it’s currently under what appears to be new management and they are fantastic.
That said- they serve Pizza and it’s really good- but you’re missing out if you only order Pizza from here. They offer a variety of good Italian-American food, but now they’ve got options for Indian food on the menu, some of which includes a fusion of all three cultures which is really interesting and tastes fantastic, if you give it a chance.
The staff is all kind and friendly- willing to talk with you, explain items on the menu, and the portions are generous and more than enough.
If you are in the market for a Pizza choice, the new Primo Chicken is great. The chicken is well seasoned and juicy, and the vegetables are similar to a Supreme Pizza without the olives- but there’s an addition of tomatoes which, trust me, is just really great.
If you want something from the Indian menu and have no clue where to start or what to do- just get the Butter Chicken and Maybe some Extra Naan bread. They make it fresh, in-house just like everything else on the menu and it’s not remotely like the stuff you get pre-frozen or made at the store- it’s perfectly crisp and light, yet so pliable and hardy for the meal.
Some other person commented negatively about the aesthetic on the inside- I’m not sure what they are on about. It’s well lit, they have some kind of movie going to watch while you enjoy your meal, the tables are clean (as is the restroom), and the staff offer extra silverware, napkins, or whatever you generally need as you need it without question. The fluorescent lights definitely aren’t like a neon-white shade like new ones but that hardly matters when the inside has people who greet you with a smile and immediately come over to help you once you walk up to the counter.
Great place to get pizza locally. 10/10

Tried Tandoori chicken pizza and asian zing wings
Both were good and liked it
One suggestion: please make the pizza dough thicker or crispy – toppings were falling off when lifting a slice.
Also Service fee added for takeout which I am not sure why.

Disgusting walked in there expecting to smell Italian food instead it smelled like Indian food a nasty body odor.
Terrible stench in there, you certainly won’t be able to enjoy any Italian food in this place

Went in for a quick bite and Primo’s Pizzeria was phenomenal! We ordered a gyro salad and garlic knots, both were cooked to perfection! Portion sizes were great and service was quick and simple. The details were impeccable on the crisp but soft garlic knots with garlic sprinkled on top for authencity, the marinara sauce had a great flavor to it too. The gyro salad was so delicious!! Very kind and helpful employees too. Would definitely come again when in the area!

I don’t know what happened, but this year Primo’s Pizza has never tasted better! Along with other changes and having Pizza by the Slice like I’m used to from NY, I’ll be back more regularly! Who is Papa John’s when The Primo Pizzeria is in town? I have no idea! Primo is now the Best in the DMV!

We decided to try Primo based on the many good reviews. Service was excellent. Staff was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t as good as the service. The bread on my sons Chicken parm sub was burnt pretty bad and he didn’t finish it. The calamari tasted closer to fish sticks. The pizza crust was super floppy. The taste of the pizza was acceptable. It wasn’t great, but it wasn’t bad either.
