Great Biscuits and eggs. Made on premises. The biscuits are dense and light, most of all tasty. Chat with the team about the shoppe. They are a great group and make amazing southern biscuits.

Came here on the way home to Atlanta from Helen craving a good biscuit breakfast sandwhich. The gentleman behind the counter was very kind and friendly. The biscuits were definitely good but not incredible and my favorite was the fried bologna biscuit with cheese. I was really excited for the spicy chicken biscuit but will admit that it was more or less just okay as the chicken seemed to be your average store bought Tyson chicken from the frozen section. All in all a good spot and definitely worth your business.

Great little biscuit shoppe! We went by the local reviews… and found this gem. Tried a spicy chicken with cheese and a bacon and egg. Both were great. The visitor biscuit itself is awesome. A little crispy on the outside and not greasy. Loved it

2nd time coming here I got BACON egg and cheese bagel $11 (no drinks just that apparently no sauce comes with it just dry) , got to the counter sat an older lady who gave me a smog look but then treated the gentlemen that came right after me with such kindness and joy (ok weird maybe she was having a day at 830am) off the rip you hear the cook “do we have plain bagel?” Curious my eyes wondered off to what the cook was fixing to do he replied with “there’s 2 left” ok still with wandering eyes I watch this man make a SAUSAGE egg and cheese bagel finishes it sent it out.. she looks at the gentlemen smile “sir bagel.?” (Disregard me standing there, but me getting there before he did) He said “nope” she then gave me a smog look again and said “oh it’s yours” I kindly in a low tone “excuse me I know you said it’s mine but I ordered BACON egg and cheese bagel.. (handed her and a younger lady my recipt) older lady aggressively “OK? AND WHATS WRONG WITH IT.?” Me in a low tone again “I saw him put sausage on it.?” Older lady “HOW YOU KNOW YOU SAW HIM WITH YOUR OWN EYES.?!” Me kindly “yes I did” (the cook old lady and young lady opened it infront of me and saw SAUSAGE) older lady aggressive again “SO IF YOU SAW IT WHY DIDNT YOU SAY SOMETHING WHY DID YOU JUST STAND THERE” me kindly “well I didn’t know if it was mine if i knew I would’ve said something” and this is when the old lady try to gas light me giggling talking abt” its one of those days” (she guess) heeehee-ing trying to get the younger lady to laugh got the guy that came in behind me to laugh see I didn’t think anything was funny the younger lady had to step in and apologize for the cook that’s when the older lady threw her hands up “our apology I guess but next time you should speak up imagine I’d be mad if I got home and saw the wrong order heeeheeee guess next time” MAAM i had to call 3 ppl to see if i was rude for not speaking up for what was supposed to be my food that YALL MESSED UP.! I ended up loosing my appetite your cook just pulled off the sausage and place bacon on it the whole bagel was super soggy for a toasted bagel NEVER EVER AGAIN I’LL GO TO THIS PLACE I SAID IT THE FIRST TIME BUT I HEARD IT WAS NEW OWNERS SHOULD HAVE JUST WALKED RIGHT PASSED THAT WAS MY BIGGEST MISTAKE. By laughing it off sarcastically apologizing doesn’t justify the rude way you talk to paying customers do better…

The sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit is exceptional. It has all the flavor of a vintage southern biscuit. Looking forward to trying the loaded grits plate next time.

The Biscuit Shopppe in Gainesville has been around since 1980, and it shows. I’ve had a hard time finding a good southern breakfast that’s different from all the rest, but this spot stands out. Next to a Valero gas station, it proves the saying true: “the best food spots are always next to a gas station.”
I got a chicken, egg, and cheese biscuit, which is my go-to, and it was spot on. The chicken had real flavor, and the biscuit was soft inside with a crispy, buttery top. Honestly, I could’ve eaten the biscuit by itself and been happy! The hashbrown was cooked just right and not a greasy mess.
Most people grab their food to go, but there are two small tables if you want to eat there. I washed mine down with an orange juice from their Coca-Cola cooler. The lady at the counter was really nice and welcoming.
With all these new chain places opening up, it’s been frustrating to see small local spots not getting the love they deserve. These places make our community what it is. If you’re in Gainesville, take a break and enjoy a solid meal at The Biscuit Shopppe. You won’t regret it!

Tried to go multiple times and it just seems like Google hasn’t updated the fact that its closed down. I have yet to find a time its been open, since I have been eagerly wanting to try it, but after a few trips there and wasting my gas, I can just say its not worth it. Not worth the drive to be disappointed, and the walk of shame to the door (only to find out, they dont even know their own hours or it would be posted on the door), walking back and doing the drive of disappointment back. I recommend if youre desperate for a good biscuit, try Waffle house, probably way cheaper and will definitely be open! Not leave you in the dark multiple times to the point you angrily type a unnecessary long review under it! Lol
