What an absolute delight Beatitudes is! Nestled right in the heart of Lake Dallas, this charming Christian tea room feels like stepping into a little slice of heaven. From the moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by peace, warmth, and the sweet presence of grace. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with beautiful Scripture art and vintage touches that make it feel like home.
The food is truly some of the best I’ve ever had. Everything tasted homemade and made with love — from the scones to the perfectly crafted tea sandwiches and the most divine desserts (the lemon bars and cinnamon bread are a must)❤️. You can tell that everything is prepared with care and prayer.
After our meal, we wandered into the cutest little gift shop tucked inside. It’s full of faith-filled treasures, handcrafted items, and beautiful, meaningful gifts (perfect for birthdays, encouragement, or just because), I could have browsed for hours!
Beatitudes isn’t just a tea room — it’s an experience. Whether you’re meeting a friend, celebrating a special moment, or simply looking for a quiet retreat, this place is truly a blessing. Lake Dallas is lucky to have such a gem, and I can’t wait to return! ❤️

I had Beatitudes cater the sandwiches for my daughter’s baby shower. They were delicious and everyone loved them. It was a big hit! I ordered and got everything the time I expected them. It was a great experience working with Beatitudes. Highly recommended them. I ordered over 300 sandwiches

I did a lot of research for a quaint place to take my mom for high tea after Downton Abbey. I found Beatitudes Tea Room and it fit my needs perfectly. It is the quaintest little white house. We were immediately seated and our server Dina came over. We started with an apricot tea and then the Tower of treats came out. With the Downton Abbey tea there was a meet pastry, finger sandwiches, scones and cream, and yummy pastries. The food was exceptional and so was the service. To make the experience even more fun they have different hats and fanciers that you can wear. And of course we had to! After our meal we shopped at their adorable boutique. We can’t wait to go back!!!

What a wonderful place! It was our first time and weren’t sure what to expect. Being two staunch afternoon tea lovers, we were blown away by the friendly service, and delicious tea varieties, and can I mention the tea sandwiches were SO GOOD! Far better than most high-end places we’ve had afternoon tea at! Well done ladies, and we will definitely be coming back.

I have the most wonderful experiences at this tea room! The food is always fresh and so yummy; especially the gouda pimento cheese. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is so friendly. There’s also a gift shop with so many wonderful offerings. I especially like that there are Young Living essential oils, which are the best btw. There is nothing else in the bottle except 100% essential oil (not like the ones in stores with only 5% essential oil & the other 95% who knows). My friends and I like knowing if we need one, we can just pop in there and get it. She also carries loose teas, beautiful notebooks, bibles, jewelry…too many things to mention all at better prices than I find elsewhere. This has become a favorite place to take my friends.

What a delightful treat! Brought here to celebrate my birthday and I was greeted to the best little tea room in Texas!!! The owners have restored this 120 year old home to host neighbors near and far. An assortment of cleverly named loose leaf teas are available. The scents are heavenly! The best made-from-scratch quiche I’ve ever had and scones that would make the Queen of England proud! Don’t forget to do a little shopping in the attached boutique store. Private room available for parties. Perfect spot of tea time with the girls, baby showers and get togethers. Mornings are packed and so are late afternoons. Mid mornings beat the crowds. A beauTEAful gem to treasure!

So glad my friends and I came here for high tea. The tea is delicious and they had a full gluten free tower with the most delicious gf desserts I’ve ever tasted. Bible verses adorn the walls and everyone was so friendly!! Highly recommend!

This is an absolutely amazing experience even if you aren’t overly religious, which my husband is not. But I would absolutely still recommend this establishment. Everyone was very kind and welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious. We purchased several teas to take home as their blends are super tasty as well. They were very nice to my son too, he’s only 9 but he loves high tea and several tea rooms in the area do not allow younger kids to partake so it was great to find this place! We will be back for sure with more of our friends and family!
