Good attention, we loved the enchiladas con pollo with red sauce the best! Portions are good enough. Horchata water also was so good and not too sweet. The place is well decorated and cozy. Thanks for the service.

Cool place. Visited a friend out in town, recommended this place. The enchiladas are amazing. Good value at $13.95. I also recommend the tropical drink, the pink one, but not really digging the 7oz. Corona in the margarita. The dehydrated lime in the coronarita was okay, would have preferred a fresh one. Our server was nice, the younger guy. Some other guy behind the bar just looked at me with disdain, lol. Tried to not let that bother me too much.

Having noticed a new name above the door of another Mexican restaurant we’ve frequented, we decided to give the new owners a try. And, it was well worth it.
The decor is about the same so without seeing the “El Agave” you might think there was no change. The menus are different, with many more options. With three of us, we all ordered different items. No alcohol this time around but they do have a full bar.
They bring chips and salsa to the table. The salsa was fresh but the bowl was a bit small. We went through it before we finished the chips. We ordered Guacamole, which was really outstanding.
For our meals – I had the three taco dinner with two steak and one Al Pastor. We also had a Tostada dinner, and a Burrito dinner. The meals come with beans and rice. Be sure to ask for their hot sauces. Their salsa roja was great but their tomatillo salsa was outrageous. Everything was very good. And, the service was also quite good and fast.
They have a nice selection of deserts, with Flan and Fried Ice Cream among others. Alas, no room after eating so much.
This is a great place. Kudos to the new owners for making a good restaurant into an even better one.

Th carne asada was very good and cooked to order perfectly. It was a little pricey ($27.99) for the size of the steak- but other than that- the food here is very good. Would recommend..

If flavor is your thing , this is your place. We have been going there since it was being run under a different name and management. However with the changes I am so happy that the food and flavors have remained delish!!

Their fajitas are hands down my fav. Their Tacos (Mexican style ) are my husband’s fav. Never a bad dish here. Don’t be put off by the strip mall look and lack of ambiance. Let the food impress you

The food was very tasty, and the service friendly and good natured. We walked into an unexpectedly large lunch rush, but though a bit slow, the waitress kept a good attitude, and everything came out correctly. The mixed fajitas were very good across all the ingredients, as were the sides. Great casual weekend lunch spot for family or small group of friends.
