Sushi rolls are we’re pretty good for the price we paid. They had a deal 3 rolls for $40 deal (limited selection) we ordered 6 rolls. 2x Guerra roll, Rikki, tetu, tropical mango roll, Gilroy roll.
Got a deal on door dash 25% off. so we paid $68.XX total (picked up) for 6 rolls . $11 per roll which is cheap compared to most sushi spots.
They were all pretty good, but my favorites were Gilroy roll & Guerra roll.
Sushi rice on the roll wasn’t that good, a little dry, could be a lot better. Each roll came with a roasted pepper, soy sauce & spicy mayo, but no ginger or wasabi.
At full price I think the rolls are a bit overpriced for the quality you get, but for what I paid ~$11 per roll it’s a great deal & would order again.

If you’re already shopping at the outlets, this is one of the better spots to stop for a quick bite—just don’t expect it to be worth going out of your way for. It’s a shame the place isn’t nearly as good as it was when it first opened. The food always looks great, but the flavors are average, and the cooks can be inconsistent. You might get a great meal one day and a very “mid” one the next.
If you want an aguachile that’s not too spicy, the aguachile de tamarindo is a solid choice, while the mango habanero has a nice kick. The tacos are consistently good. I’d stay away from the salmon—it was overcooked—and the pasta was too greasy. The calamari bites are on the small side but have a satisfying crunch.
My bf got sick after eating here.

I absolutely love this restaurant and always leave impressed. The food, ambience, and employees are all amazing; from the warm, welcoming service to the inviting and lively atmosphere!
I’m a repeat customer because their dishes never disappoint. My go-to is the New York Steak; a perfectly grilled 12 oz steak, served with roasted veggies and creamy garlic mashed potatoes. It’s flavorful, tender, and consistently cooked just right.
I also can’t get enough of The Rikki roll. The combination of cucumber and shrimp tempura inside, tuna and avocado on the outside. The Camarones Culichis are another standout! It’s rich, savory, and incredibly satisfying.
Finally, the Molcajete Mar y Tierra is a must-try. The combination of carne asada, chicken, shrimp, nopales, jalapeño, beans, cheese, and chile toreado is packed with flavor and perfect for sharing…or enjoying all to yourself!!
Overall, this place never misses. The quality, consistency, and experience keep me coming back every time. Highly recommend!

For the outlets. This is the best you can get. Truly a hidden gem. Great special value list. Like take Tuesdays and brunch on weekends.

Culichis Urban Kitchen is hands down one of the best sushi and seafood restaurants in the city! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is energetic, modern, and welcoming perfect for a night out, celebrations, or just enjoying amazing food. The appetizers are flavorful and perfectly prepared, setting the tone for an unforgettable meal. The cold bar seafood is incredibly fresh, with bold flavors that really stand out. If you’re a seafood lover, this place is a must-visit. Their sushi is next level with creative rolls, high-quality ingredients, and beautiful presentation. Every bite tastes fresh and well-balanced, making it clear why Culichis is known for having some of the best sushi in town. FYI! Only restaurant worth driving to in Gilroy but the biggest perk is you can go shopping after. Anyways, the steaks are juicy, tender, and cooked to perfection, offering something amazing for everyone at the table. Don’t miss the drinks they’re strong, refreshing, and pair perfectly with the menu. Whether you choose a signature cocktail or a classic favorite, the bar delivers every time. My favorite is the Culichis Paloma . With outstanding food, great service, and an unbeatable menu featuring seafood, sushi, steaks, appetizers, and drinks, Culichis Urban Kitchen truly stands out. If you’re looking for the top sushi and seafood restaurant in the city, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Innovative combinations and great flavors make the food outstanding. I had the taco macho. Shrimp and octopus were surrounded by sour cream and avocado and a full Anaheim chile (mild). There was cheese too and the flour tortilla was crisped just right. Bring your appetite! One overflowing taco may be enough! Quesabirria only on weekends! Excellent service and great music, not to mention the busy decor, made this place fun!

This place is fantastic! The portions are generous and well-served. I’m visiting the area for work, and after reading their reviews, I decided to give them a try. For lunch, I ordered the Aguachile Mango & Habanero, Aguachile Tamarindo, and Aguachile Divorciado for $24.99. It was the best ceviche-like dish I’ve ever had! (If you enjoy spicy food that makes you cry, this is the dish for you! ) I also had a Baja taco, which was excellent as well. I loved my lunch so much that I came back for dinner!
For dinner, I dined in and had the M.O.C Roll for $18. It was incredibly fresh and tasty! Also had the Spicy Edamames $10 it was a huge portion and tasted amazing!
The atmosphere was lively and fun, especially with the live DJ they had on Friday night.
The customer service was outstanding, from our waiter Andres to one of the owners, Ashley, who checked in to see how our experience was going. She was so genuine and made me feel very welcome. I will definitely be dining here for the rest of my stay this weekend!
2nd day here and still maintains its 5-star review from yesterday! I had lunch & dinner again. Lunch was Salmoncito Hot & salsa. Dinner was to go and it was the Fajita Trio.
3rd day here and sad it’s my last! The service was by far the best I’ve received in my travels. Andres is a great waiter! Today I had lunch to go & dinner with salsa & chips

We stopped here while outlet shopping. Service was very friendly and fast despite how busy it was. The atmosphere is lively and loud with a sports bar vibe and Mexican music. The menu was Mexican/Asian fusion. Chips and salsa were great ~ spicy! We ordered asada fries with guacamole, fried calamari with fried jalapeños, and a Gilroy roll ~ all delicious. It was way more than the two of us could eat! We also had a tamarind wine margarita, which was tasty and served with an orchid flower… festive! I’d go back if I were in the area.
