Excellent BBQ in a great setting. It’s great to see the armed services, law enforcement and first responders recognized in the theme of the restaurant. Service is excellent and no tip requested when paying before dining, which other establishments should replicate. But I would like to tip!!!

First time to Mission BBQ and we liked it. First of all we had to redirect from Texas Roadhouse as they had long waiting time. The place was moderately full. The person at the order was very nice and explained all the dishes. The food Smoked chicken was very good, warm and juicy. We had a bad experience of overpaid smoked but dry chicken recently so this was very good in comparison. The pulled chicken with bread was a bit dry and my son left half of it.
They were near closing so gave us bread caramel pudding on the house and it was delicious. Will go there again just for smoked chicken and pudding.

Have ordered online a few times and the food was ready very quickly by the time I arrived. Accurate each time and the food has not disappointed!! It’s very good!! It was recommended by friends and I’ve only had the BBQ with a few sides (baked beans, slaw, potato salad, cheesy potatoes, mac & cheese and banana pudding). There are several sauces to choose from and we like the Memphis sauce the best. If you order BBQ (no sandwich) there is usually some cornbread served with it. It’s tasty enough I don’t feel the need to add butter. The customer service has been EXCELLENT each time I’ve picked up an order. Only thing I wish is that there was a curbside pick-up instead of having to go in every time. Nowadays, it’s nice to have curbside if you are not feeling well or have young kids or a disability when you are just picking up an online order. Other than that, they are a great option for those who love BBQ and other smoked meats (ribs, brisket, etc.). The sides in my photos are potato salad and mac & cheese.

Had great experience, food was delicious, sang National Anthem at noon. The manager was walking around cleaning up trays, and was very kind. Love all the pictures, of our military, firefighters, police. Great place.

Ordered ribs (dry and no flavor), brisket (was a block and burnt tasting), Mac n cheese, cornbread( tasted like missing an ingredient or two) and caramel apple crisp. The only decent tasting thing we had was the apple crisp. Extremely disappointing and definitely will not be back.

Food was on point and flavor exceptional.

Always a hit! Consistent no matter which one you eat, not a fan of the cheesy potatoes, heavy onion and pepper taste! They were out of Mac&Cheese so the manger owes me a round! Lol

The staff and service here is impeccable! We were the first ones in and received our food in less than a few minutes. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and happy to extend any help we needed. Whenever I want Mission BBQ I will be coming to this location. Hands down the best customer service I’ve received in RVA and I’m an RVA native. Came in after a pretty tough 5K race and left feeling better than when I came in. Thank you all! Your attitude and energy was so appreciated and valued. Blessings to you all.
