The food was absolutely disgusting. I ordered off ox tail with rice and peas and mac & cheese with a side of plantain. Everything was disgusting. The oxtail was based in some very liquidy brown disgusting sauce. The rice and peas was just merely white rice stained brown due to the disgusting liquid brown sauce. The plantain was extremely dry. Couldn’t even chew it, and the mac & cheese was pretty much just liquid cheese soup definitely contacting to get my money back or I will charge back the $48 from my bank.

Y’all need to go ahead and get here! EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!! My curry chicken had the right kind of spice. Rice and peas was good, veggies was good.

My friend got the oxtail and loved it. She complained about not enough gravy but everyone knows you have to ask for extra.

I put my beef patty inside my cocoa bread and it was perfect. 100/10!

Very clean inside! Beautiful mural! Great Customer service!
Beef Patty BIG THUMBS DOWN- mine were super dried out/burnt. More spice than flavor. at $4 ea. VERY disappointing!

I got a soup that was good. It reminded me of Beef stew .. without the beef. It had delicious dumplings, potatoes, and beans as its main ingredients.

Sorrell was delicious as always (the only thing I would order again) 🙂

The food is soooo good! I ordered the curry chicken and 2 half and half of oxtail and curry goat and they give you a lot of food so I think the price is great! We are definitely coming back!

Came on a Monday at 12:27 pm the door was locked no one was inside and no one was answering the phone. The door and the website clearly states that they are closed on sundays and open at 10 am Monday through Saturday. I don’t know what kind of business they seem to be running.

We were visiting Edgewood for an event and found this spot. The food was great, jerk chicken wings and curry chicken. The food came out the kitchen hot and tasty. Very flavorful. Yes, We will travel from Baltimore to this location again.

Been going here for a while and normally the food is good however, this time I got the curry shrimp and was extremely disappointed with the amount of oil that was in my plate —you could literally Fry a piece of chicken with it. I end up having to throw it away. Unfortunately, he lost my business because I believe he knew.

The best Jamacian spot you’ll find in the area. Fresh, authentic, and honestly addictive. They give REAL portions of oxtail with gravy – the right way. All of their cocoa bread is made from scratch and you can taste it. If you call or come in and hear a British woman, don’t be FOOLED! There’s a real Jamaican man in the back making your food. Plus, she’ll tell you herself when you give her that questionable look. Ive been coming here for months and if my wallet could afford it, I’d come daily.

Update:
My only word of caution is you might end up leaving with more food than you originally planned. I HATE pumpkin and the chef had my mouth watering for his Pumpkin soup (with dumplings, potato, carrots, and I think pumpkin pieces) before I even got home. I would’ve taken photos but nobody has time to sit for a photo at that point.

Visted this place while in Edgewood. This place is so clean! We dine in & the music playing makes the vibes feel even better. There are a variety of island known brands of drinks to choose from all non-alcoholic brevages. Now, what really got my attention was his naturally made seasmoss. It was sweeten and made to perfection. Definitely touched my taste buds. We ordered two plates. One small island style stew chicken came with coconut rice and peas with cabbage. Oh boy, my food was served heated hot like it was just finished cooking the way I love to have my food serve. The dish was delicious, I can’t deny it. Everything on my plate was gone. The flavors were great. The 2nd plate, which was also GREAT it was the small jerk chicken. This chef is really Jamincian and has mastered the art of jerking chicken. The dish came with the rice and peas and cabbage. Excellent, I recommend this place. We had lunch here, and it was worth it. Our order consists of 1 ting an island drink, 1 cup chef made seas moss, 2 small plates, one stew one jerk cost about $36.00.
