This bakery is conveniently located in the heart of downtown San Jose. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and it had plenty of outside seating available. The bakery has a variety of freshly made cookies and pastries which one could buy by the piece or larger quantities by weight. We got an almond horseshoe pastry and a cardamom cookie. Both were delicious. They also offer freshly squeezed juices. We opted for orange and it was cold and had a perfect balance of sweet and sour.

This is my go to place when I come to town. Their coffee is excellent. Yesterday I had the banana nut muffin, and today I had the blueberry muffin. Both were off the chain, moist inside and a little crunchy on the outside. Helpful positive staff.

Just stopped in for a snack and ended up with a most disappointing bagel and cream cheese for me and my kid. To start, I ordered two, but was only given one. When I asked for my second bagel, the kid threw one in a bag—I had to clarify that I ordered it with cream cheese. No offer to toast, no plates, just a to-go bag. And to top it off, there was almost no cream cheese.

Not worth the insane price or the calories. The ambiance is nice, but the staff is not friendly. The Napoleon tasted like nothing at all. The apple strudel was good, though. The shop seems to be circling the drain: pretty empty, dirty windows, old signs. The mellow background music was the best part about our experience.

I’ve been here a few times on work trips and have had a variety of drinks and baked goods to go. Everything is tasty, especially the croissants.

I want to thank Bijan and especially Rocio for above and beyond help today in getting my purse back from a business next door. They didn’t have to help but took the time and it was very, very appreciated. They are good people and I’ll continue to visit when I’m staying in town!

We were really looking forward to trying this place during our trip to San Jose. While they have a wide menu variety, the quality of their food is not worth the price. I got the vegetarian sandwich and the portion was small for the price. The avocado spread had absolutely no flavor. Also, I ordered a carrot juice but they ended up giving me an orange juice. When I told one of the employees, she gave me attitude and I just ended up keeping the juice because I didn’t want to deal with that. She also kept ignoring us when we were trying to order. I also got a slice of the red velvet cake and it tasted like it was old and sitting in the refrigerator for a couple of days. Overall, the quality of their items is not worth the price and their customer service needs improvement.

What can I say? The ambiance is light friendly, excellent staff service with smiles, and an eclectic taste in acoustic music overhead. The tasty delights that I have been tempted to eat thay have completely.. evaporated! I will go again if and when in the area. Great place to meet ul with someone, or if you choose to read or study, highly recommended have been earned in my experience.

Great location. You need to fond a parking spot though. Same as any Bojan in the Bay Area. I feel it a bit bigger and spacious where you can take a great coffee with a great croissant it a good tea. We usually request a birthday cakes here because they do it very well. We ordered one I hope it will be good as we liked. I highly recommend this place.

This bakery is delicious and decadent! I wanted to try everything!! I wish we were not from out of town because I would ha bought one of the delicious looking cakes or taken home some more of there fine desserts!! They were so friendly, welcoming and everything is made on site! Wide range of choices and the chocolate danish, biscotti and bagel we had (at 7 in the morning) was fresh and tasty! The regular drip coffee was perfect too! Everyone should stop by Bijan’s Bakery if they are even slightly in the area! Loved it!
