I’ve been to this location a few times and food has always been tasty.
When it warms up, they have a great outdoor patio, if you don’t want to watch tv.
If you’re a sports fan, this is THE place for that. All the many TV’s had football going. If you’re not a sport’s fan, this might not be the place for you. I’m not a sports fan, but it wasn’t really loud and obnoxious.
Friday night was excellent. Henry and Kendra were attentive, friendly, and genuinely engaged. Drinks were timely, they checked in without hovering, and the overall vibe made it an easy place to sit, relax, and enjoy the night.
Saturday night was a very different experience. Service felt slow and disengaged. Long gaps between drinks, little awareness once a glass was empty, and a general lack of energy behind the bar. Nothing was outright bad — it just felt indifferent.
Food and drinks are solid, and the place clearly can deliver great service, which is why this lands at three stars instead of lower. Consistency is the missing piece.
I’d happily come back on a night with the right staff behind the bar.
The shrimp po’boy is done right, loaded with so much shrimp you can’t even close the sandwich. I wasn’t a huge fan of the house made remoulade, as I usually prefer an aioli, but it was fine. I’d definitely order it again. The fries are incredible! No need to upgrade to onion rings or something else, because the fries are banging. As much as I loved the po’boy, I’ve got to try the Monte Cristo on my next visit. Our server told us it’s incredible.
During our visit, it appeared that only one person took care of the patrons (minus whoever was cooking the food). He did a great job checking on everyone throughout our stay. He also had great recommendations and an easy-going personality. The pub itself is an open space with an outside patio area, and televisions fill the upper walls. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and will be back in the future.
Friendly staff.
Reasonably priced.
Bartenders were nice, prompt and made good beer selections.
Wall to Wall TV’s so you won’t miss a thing. I bet the outdoor patio is amazing in late Spring and early Fall.
