Stopped by for takeout at 1pm on a Wednesday – so glad I did!
In an age of inflation, this spot gives you the bang for your buck that dreams are made of. $10 for this gyro plate and the food was amazing – flavorful, fresh, and tasted homemade. The picture doesn’t do the food justice, but it left me full and satisfied (not too heavy). Gyro meat is great in general, but this was better than what I’ve had at most restaurants.
They also had a pastrami sandwich + side of soup or salad deal for $6!!! That price is less than the cost of a grande americano from a casino Starbucks.
10/10 would recommend if you’re in the area looking for good food at a lovable price.

Absolutely aw’sum “hole in the wall” restaurant. We’ve b’n wanting 2 try this place 4 quite some time, their hours are a’lil odd they close at 3 PM. The 2 ladies working were very pleasant there was still quite a wait even at 2:30 in the afternoon, I would recommend if ya like gyros this is the “only” place in Reno to be!

Ok, I am impressed. A delightful salad with cucumber and tomatoes plus a gyro that has so much fresh vegetables and lamb served at perfection. The lamb has a crisp yet soft texture, drives me to return. Only $6!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Healthy and you get more!

A surprising hole-in-the-wall restaurant that serves a darn good gyro sandwich. I was not expecting such a tasty treat. The sandwich is served with a very basic salad that does not measure up to the sandwich.
One querk was that some of the menu items were not available. Today we had a choice of four items plus beef vegetable soup.
Service is spot was there was only one person working.
The interior is either”homey” or “homely” depending on your perspective.
I would definitely go back for the gyro. Extra plus is that it is relatively inexpensive.

Absolutely blown away by Nick’s Geek Deli truly a hidden gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed like family and instantly feel at home in the cozy, friendly atmosphere.
The pastrami sandwich was hands-down one of the best I’ve had, packed with flavor and perfectly done. The burger was a totally different twist from your usual burger, but still insanely good unique and delicious in every way. And don’t even get me started on the chicken sandwiches absolutely on point.
Every item we tried was amazing, and you can tell everything is made with care and creativity. Nick’s Geek Deli is a spot you’ll want to keep going back to 5 stars all the way!

Beef and lamb gyro fries. One of the best thing I have ever eaten. Golden brown crispy fries. Feta and this garlic sauce then big chunks of meat. Green onions diced. We also got gyros. They messed up the order. With the no onions and and no tomatoes. Even though I didn’t ask for then I noticed how fresh the ingredients where. The owner has a big job to build a service team today. The Greek yogurt if fire also. Lil pricey. I’ll wait and pay for fresh and elevated. Beautiful place on carne a safe fries. Even better.

If you are looking for a place to get a Gyro, I definitely recommend Nick’s Greek Deli. The food is delicious, the price is fair and both the owner and her employee are very welcoming.

Great food it’s like a little home style kitchen they prepare to order and everything is fresh and really low price just had the pastrami sandwich with veggie soup on side it was bomb! Tastes like you went to m they’re house and they cooked for you.
