This was our first time coming here after we saw a post on Facebook. The food was really good, the steak was on the thinner side so it wasn’t cooked to the requested temperature and don’t think that was really possible due to it being thin, but that was okay. The country fried chicken was delicious. Overall, food and service were good especially for the prices. I would suggest some background music. We plan to return!

Ribeye was tender, had good flavor, but was overseasoned and a little to salty. Would order again but definitely would ask for light seasoning. Collards were decent, but not sure they were homemade, kinda tasted exactly like Magaret Holmes from the can. Hoppin John Rice was delicious! Definitely will try this place again!

Don’t miss this hidden gem. Located between Kershaw and Camden on 521. I had one of their daily specials, a pimento cheese burger with a fried green tomato. I chose to do it without the bread and it was very well prepared. Also the deviled eggs appetizer was tasty as well and they have several made from scratch cheesecakes.

Great service, family friendly environment and food was delicious. Steaks were well seasoned, tender, and cooked to perfection. My husband devoured his smash burger!
Just some suggestions not trying to be picky but I really want this place to succeed…the fries weren’t consistently cooked. Some were good but others were overfried/hard to bite into. And my son’s beef sliders were alittle undercooked/pink. He thoroughly enjoyed them and it didnt stop him from eating them but I would maybe make sure they are more well done for kiddos. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I went there today. Food was good and freshly cooked, service was prompt and we never lacked anything. Nicely sized portions and good prices. Best of all its run by local folks who are part of this community. Hopefully folks in the Camden, Westville and Kershaw area will forego Chili’s and give this place a try.

Tried out this new restaurant started by a young entrepreneurial chef and pastry chef couple. It was a delightful experience. The food was delicious!! Started with the tater fritters followed by the fried pork chops then finished with the s’mores cheesecake. Everything was served hot, well seasoned and beautifully plated. The atmosphere is casual and bright. Our waitress was super nice and friendly. Since this is a brand new restaurant there are some kinks to fine tune. That is no reason not to give this great restaurant a try. You won’t be disappointed. Loved it.

They catered our sons rehearsal dinner and the hors d’oeuvres during the cocktail hour at my son’s wedding. The food was delicious! Also made the cake and cup cakes for the wedding! High recommend. Elizabeth is so friendly, easy to work with and has great ideas for food pairing. Also quick responses and answered any time I called her for additional thoughts and suggestions for the event.

Tried this place for the first time today with my mom. We were immediately seated and given drinks. We ate from the buffet. All of the food was good and anything that was low was quickly refilled. We were checked on several times and given refills. Would definitely come back when in the area. The desserts look absolutely amazing. I havent tried my s’more cheesecake yet that I took home with me but it looks great.

Had passed by here several times, so today we stopped. What a pleasant, clean restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Wonderful young lady(Elizabeth) greeted us and also served us. All items were freshly made and didn’t disappoint. Chicken breast, collards, and mashed potatoes. Plus the Philly cheese steak for my wife–everything was very, very good. Try the tater fritters, also! Dessert was Key Lime cheescake and she had a brownie sundae.
If you are going to Camden out of Kershaw, just past the speedway, stop, have lunch. I think you will be as surprised as we were. We will return.
Thanks.
