Awesome authentic Italian feel. Food is amazing!!! My new local go to for Italian sandwiches , plus desserts! Service was so amazing , staff was extremely courteous and knowledgeable of the menu. I felt very comfortable there. I will definitely be back. We got the Caesar salad sandwhich which had a chicken cutlet , and a tipsy chicken sandwhich which was chicken cutlet with mozzarella, vodka blush sauce and nlsoc glaze, also had spinach on seeded role !

Outstanding cheesesteak — tender ribeye, fried onions, and Cooper Sharp on a seeded roll. Small, family-run café with really kind people and great Philly-themed decor. The other sandwiches we saw coming out looked just as good. Highly recommend.

Cafe Merlino came highly recommended and they didn’t disappoint! The roast beef sandwich is INCREDIBLE. Truly, one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. We also got the Tipsy Chicken – the cutlets are perfectly fried and thin, and the homemade vodka sauce with the homemade mozzarella just took it to the next level. 11/10, you will not be disappointed!!

Ordered 2 sandwiches: Meatball alla vodkaand the chicken cutlet hoagie. Both were incredible. Some of best meatballs ever. Chicken cutlets were thin and crisp, perfectly cooked. The seeded roll was fresh, soft inside and crisp outside. Highly recommend

This place is awesome!! Great atmosphere and good people who run it! Food was amazing, we walked in and ordered sandwiches and they came out in less than 10 minutes. Definitely recommend the cheesesteaks and the chicken cutlets were to die for!!!! 10/10!! can’t wait to come back

I never even knew this little cafe existed until I saw it on TikTok, and I’m so glad I did! I stopped in to pick up a chicken cutlet caesar sandwich and fries. Everything was so delicious and fresh. The service was amazing as well! Super friendly and really fast.

Amazing food with some of the best meatballs, chicken cutlets and cheesesteaks ever. Well seasoned on a great seeded roll. So glad I found this little gem! Can’t wait for another doctor’s appointment for my Mom so we can head back! Incredible friendly staff as well. Do yourself a favor and try it!

let me start off by saying, when you walk into this place it smells so good. like the food was just so good based off the smell so me and my bf knew it was about to be an amazing meal and that it was. we looked around the place and it’s definitely very clean and put together, they offer a few things to buy such as; popcorn for the people, different sodas, etc., but the menu and the front case is filled with so many good options. we both think everything is priced fairly for the HUGE portions given. the bread was perfectly crunchy and soft at the same time. the chicken cutlets in the sandwich too were seasoned to perfection. the friends has pepper on top which made them top tier. normally when we both go out to eat we get horribly bloated but something about the food was so fresh and delicious that we felt perfectly fine afterwards. truth be told we could’ve bought one sandwhich and been full but we got two and we finished it all. the vodka sauce, mozzarella, chicken cutlets, spinach, seeded roll, and balsamic glaze all come together to create such a mouth watering meal. we will definitely be coming back for more soon. in addition, the front counter lady who i believe is the owner was so sweet and constantly checking how we were, the service was a 10/10.
