We visited on a Saturday night in February 2026 around 7:30pm and the place was not packed at all. I parked in the street right in front of the entrance gate. We found our own table and were able to order drinks right away. All the seating is outdoors so bring a jacket if it’s chilly at night. There was no drink menu so the waiter just told us what they had available from the bar. Chips, rice and beans were just average but the salsa was delicious. We had the ribeye, flat steak, fish and octopus and chicharrón which were really good and nice smoky grill flavor and char to them. We ate family style so everyone could try all the entrees. The guacamole needed salt but they gave us tons of it! There was no horse show or live music when we went but we still enjoyed the atmosphere. I would go back again. They gave us a couple free desserts to try and also a complimentary tequila shot so I thought the service was excellent but not sure how it would be if the place was full. I think it would be nice to bring a big group here.

disappointing! 1. We don’t mind paying. When you want to giive your paying customers a bowl of menudo with few pieces of meat for $20.00 insane. They were very chintzy with the meat. My husband had the menudo and I had the chilaquiles. Chilaquiles came out and they were temperature not hot at all.
The service was good but the quality and quality of the food was very sad specially for what they are charging you for.
They have to do better specially with their menudo meat pieces. It’s like fishing in pond and hope you get a fish.

Came here about 2 weeks ago on a Sunday afternoon. Luckily it wasn’t packed. It was a sunny day and the seating is outdoors so it was quite hot. We sat under the shade with the fans so that helped. Service was good, appetizers were delicious, specifically the chicharron & guac with handmade tortillas was bomb! The ceviche was good too! It just didnt feel cold enough but it could’ve been the weather. I ordered the godorniza with cactus and rice. Rice was basic, cactus yummy and godorniza was ok. We had a few drinks including the cantarito. I asked for an agua fresca with a shot on the side and it was so good. The agua frescas were definitely delicious. Overall I enjoyed the food & atmosphere, be ready to come home smelling smokey and be ready for a hefty bill. Its definitely a bit overpriced which is unfortunate. The steaks that my friends got were just ok so the price didnt quite fit with the main entree flavors. I would still go back, maybe a day where they have live music, and will stick to appetizers and drinks since that was filling enough.

We visited Saucedo Asadero on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 1 pm, and sat outdoors under a covered patio. The weather was warm and breezy, perfect for enjoying a meal.
Reservations: make one. While we made an online reservation 3 hours before, it took about 15 minutes to be seated.
Valet Parking: the location is on a one way street, so packed we parked down the street
Food:
Porterhouse Steak ($60): Flavorful and well-seasoned, but thinner than I expected for the price. Came with beans and nopal. Served on a cutting board—very authentic touch.
Ribeye: Melt-in-your-mouth tender, seasoned well. My wife chose stir-fry vegetables and beans.
Oysters: Small portion, plain, served with lime but no chili sauce or salt.
Tortillas: they are homemade and so good. I don’t know if it was meal specific or tablespecific but they only came in portions of three
Chips and Salsa: The salsa had a perfect balance, not to hot just right. The chips were a bit stale, what a waste for and bad combination for the delicious salsa
Drinks: Unfortunately no Alcohol. Desipite there being a photo of a man which states otherwise. They did however have a Delicious Pepino Drink and a mouthwatering Cantaritos drink, which hit the spot.
Service could use some improvement. This place needs a beverage menu. I saw people drinking or eating out of coconuts, we only ordered Cantaritos because my wife saw someone else with one and was curious. The staff seemed busy, and no one came to check in after we ordered. The waiter who took our order, never came back to see if we wanted anything else, he left an additional $60 in missed sales at the table by not doing this, as a matter of fact we never saw our waiter at all after we ordered, someone else brought our bill, only after a gentlemen came to ask if we were done so they could clear our plates.
This place was like a dry beer garden meets a food vendor meets a Ranch.
All in all it was a great first time experience. A group of horse riders came in on the premises which added to the ambiance and the experience as one of the riders made the horse dance to the music the location was playing

Walked out of this place with a hefty $400 bill.
Walked in on a Sunday morning around noon to celebrate my mothers birthday since we saw online that they had live mariachi.
Unfortunately to there was no live music for reasons unknown.
We were excited to order their chilaquiles and birria but to our surprise they stopped serving breakfast platters at 12 although the menu says breakfast ends at 1.
We ended up ordering 4 steak plates. Tasajo was chewy and ribeye had a little more fat than expected. They were both ok.
1 bean taco plate with hand made tortillas that was good.
1 chicharrón appetizer that was just ok.
Horchata was really good.
We also ordered Paloma’s and cantarritos which we later found out were $20 each. They don’t have a drink menu which is why the price was shocking.
Lastly, the bathrooms. No other way to put this other than disgusting. They have porta potty trailers that desperately needed maintenance.
Our bill came out to around $350 but to our surprise they added the gratuity of 20% which was around $65 (for 4 adults and 2 children)

I had an amazing experience at Asadero Sausedo! The food was absolutely delicious—authentic, flavorful, and served hot and fresh. The live music created a fun and welcoming atmosphere, making the whole night even more enjoyable. A big shoutout to our waiter Jasiel, who provided excellent service throughout the night—super friendly, attentive, and fast. Our drinks and food came out quickly, and he made sure we had everything we needed. Can’t wait to come back again!

Great place to spend the day. Peaceful, relaxing, great food, drinks, service and a million dollars view. We enjoyed lunch on a cloudy Sunday and went out for a walk. Visited the horses, chickens sheep’s and goats and played for a little while with the dogs. If you visit please be respectful with the common areas and the animals they are part of the great experience. We sat down on the artificial grass and I was mesmerized by the beautiful sunset while we enjoyed our cantaritos. Went on a second walk and came back for dinner and dessert. I have been going here since their beginnings and they have improved their service, however, be patience, mindful and respectful with the servers it gets busy and crowded. I highly recommend you wear boots if you want to walk around. They also have live music, mariachi is my favorite for Sunday brunch.

No reservations needed!!! I was worried about going in without a reservation but that was no issue at all. Plenty of room. They sat us down right away. We also had arrived as they opened and were the fourth table to sit down.
I get people’s complaints about the service, but that is an easy fix. Just have waiters visit/check-in with each table every 10-15 minutes and that should solve many if not all the issues.
Valet parking is free. They have a stable that you can check out while you wait for your food. It took maybe 20-30 minute to get the food but that’s understandable as it’s freshly cooked. I really don’t understand people’s complaints about the wait.

Beautiful scenery, food and drinks are delicious. A bit smaller than expected (location) but great overall. Live music is after a certain time so we didn’t get to see it but still had a nice time over all. The restrooms could use some cleaning most of them were out of toilet paper and the floors were all wet.
It’s nice to walk around and admire. The people are very friendly. Service was pleasant. Spent about $700 for a party of 7.

The day we visited was Father’s Day, so there were a lot of people. I’m rating restaurant five stars; giving them the benefit of the doubt that they’re actually better than they were that day.
AMBIANCE: This place is a great outdoor culinary experience. It provides valet parking and more than just sit and dine. The dining area is shaded, but it is outdoors, so dress accordingly. You can see the train from the property, which is a nice treat. After dinner, you’re invited to enjoy the propeety with its many intimate conversations and viewing spots. Also outdoors, so wear a hat and sunscreen.
ACCESSIBILITY: Out stroller was not difficult to navigate down to the dining area, but if you’re in a wheelchair you’re going to need help with that steep dirt entrance.
FOOD: The food portions are a bit small. We ordered the aguachile verde, it was dry; lacking lime juice and flavor, it was very spicy, though which was expected. We also ordered the octopus, and almost half was very charred. It was bitter and not palatable, a waste. The other two dishes were ribs super delicious and the steak, it had a good flavor but again, small portions. I ordered the cantarito, and even though the alcohol was at a good level, it lacked flavor it was very bland. They don’t offer courtesy drinking water, which is ok, but it’s good to let people know they’ll have to buy some if they get thirsty. I’d visit again because of the ambiance they provide. They have music playing around the clock, so it’s extremely loud. If you have sensitive ears, I’d recommend bringing earbuds. All in all, I’d visit again as a date or family outing.
