Mostly A top marks I would like to give this place for genuinely how it is however , the chairs I feel are inadequate for me as I have back pain and have to carry around a cushion for back support . I have enclosed a couple of photos of a better chair that perhaps should be purchased to replace all the chairs in this otherwise reasonable establishment . I was pleasantly surprised to find upon selecting my table for myself and my NDIS support worker that there’s an extra menu of specials and that by chance the meal I ordered came with a free can of soft drink . The chilli basil chicken mince with rice and fried egg was unfortunately just a bit too spicy for me and I feel there should be an option for an extra $1 that a dipping sauce bowl ( pictured ) of coconut milk and a little piece of lime brought out for this meal if it’s slightly too spicy . I am a little bit not happy about the delay in getting the napkins brought out . The parking lot behind the bottle shop that’s next to this restaurant despite a sign saying ” Private Parking only ” is permitted to park there for customers of this place .

Absolutely loved my experience here! The staff were extremely polite and welcoming. I accidentally forgot to mention my egg allergy when ordering a vegetarian Pad Thai, and they immediately replaced the dish with no questions asked and such kindness and professionalism is truly rare. The food itself was absolutely delicious, full of fresh flavors and perfectly cooked. I really enjoyed every bite and will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend!

First time trying this place as I was told it was really good. Well all I can say is this, it blew me away. The flavours of every dish we ordered were absolutely delicious. I didn’t think to take the pictures of the entrees but if you come, the duck pancakes are a must, even if you aren’t fond of duck, you will be blown away. Thank you to the chefs and too, the staff, keep up the fantastic work you are doing.

I’m new to the area and walked past Hunter Thai and went in a for a lunchtime special.
Good range of choices. I had the Penang curry chicken and was a good size portion and very tasty. It came with a soft drink and water.

Last night I had an amazing experience at Hunter Thai Restaurant! We ordered Pad Cha with Barramandi, and it was absolutely delicious. The aroma of Thai herbs,combined with the crispy fish and flavorful Thai chili sauce,made for perfect dish- not to dry,just right-especially with steamed rice. The Padthai was outstanding,perfectly balanced with tangy,sweet,and salty flavors.The combination of creamy and crunchy texture made it the ultimate comfort food with an exotic twist.
The crying Tigers was outstanding perfection-juicy and tender-with a bold,spicy Thai dipping sauce.this dish truly showcases the depth of traditional Thai marinades and flavors.
The Thai Fried rice was also cooked perfectly,and all the entrees were very well prepared.To top it off, the Thai milk Tea was the best I ‘ve had outside of Thailand-it really took me back!
The restaurant is affordable,the staff is incredible friendly,and the service is excellent.Plush,there’s plenty of free parking. Which is huge bonus for this area. Highly recommend! If you’re looking for authentic Thai food,this is the place to go. Well done ,Hunter Thai
