We weren’t greeted at first as well, like it was so blunt definite just what would you have ?
What I saw in the station and heard the reps talking about I saw the woman changed the trash and didn’t change your gloves again to start making coffee
I understand that the location is in countryside but hygiene shouldn’t be compromised.
The staff was friendly, and our food came out quickly. The bacon, egg croissant tasted great, and the coffee did its job for the location. If you’re on your way to Shenandoah, maybe remember this place for coffee and breakfast. Otherwise, you may have to settle for gas station coffee and hot dogs.
I ordered a matcha latte with specific customizations. When I tasted it, the matcha was noticeably bitter. I calmly and politely went back through the drive-thru and asked if there was a way to fix it. I did not ask for a free drink or a refund—just a fix, even something as simple as extra syrup on the side.
The drink was remade, but while I was at the window, one employee stared me down and I could hear them complaining about me, saying they made it “exactly the same way.” That alone was uncomfortable and unprofessional. When I drove away and actually tasted the matcha (not just the cold foam), it was still bitter.
I then called the store—not to demand anything—but to let them know about the employee behavior. Instead, I was told that staff are “tired of remaking my drinks,” that I “frequently” do this (which is not true), and that the only option was a refund. I was interrupted, talked over, and ultimately hung up on—twice—despite remaining calm and respectful the entire time.
I come to this location often for a standard drink and very rarely have issues. Asking for extra syrup or correcting a dairy substitute is not “frequently remaking drinks,” and even if a drink needs to be fixed, no customer should be stared down, talked about openly, or made to feel like a problem for politely addressing an issue.
This wasn’t about a drink—it was about how I was treated. Unfortunately, due to the lack of professionalism and customer service, I won’t be returning to this location.
