We went back to Carlotto for the third time last night and left with even more confidence we want to return. The dishes were all fantastic. We especially enjoyed the Yellowfish Crudo, Beef Short Rib and Lobster pasta dishes. Each had excellent flavor and were perfectly prepared.

This restaurant was wonderful. The atmosphere is perfect for drinks out with the girls. They had special gluten free bread (I am celiac) and the pasta was delicious. My favorite highlight was the strawberry parfait dessert! The vanilla whipped cream was divine. Would love to go back!

What a fantastic experience.

Lucrative space with an intimate setting connected to the famous “oceans” restaurant sits this modern Italian restaurant.

I started off with the focaccia which was a light and fluffy. House made focaccia with oil and butter. They also added a side of PITTED olives which went PERFECTLY with my Negroni.

Afterwards we order the beet carpaccio, and a charcuterie like board with assorted meats, jam, cheese, and pickled veggies. FANTASTIC!!!

Of course to accompany this I ordered their Bianco Negroni which was also FABULOUS.

overall I had above and beyond and EXCEPTIONAL service from the host and both of my bartenders. All ladies by the way, showing nothing but intentional hospitality and genuine connection. (Thank you for assisting me, and thank you for all your recommendations).

This is gonna be my new spot to bring guest I want to IMPRESS. Keep up the great work. I’ll see you next time!

Exceptional Italian cuisine! House made pastas especially Malfadine with lobster were perfectly cooked. Chef Andy Kitko is doing it right here! Veal parmigiana is so tender and juicy, not to be missed. Cozy ambiance and great service! Gem of a restaurant.

Fantastic all around. The food and drinks were delicious; everything from the burrata, to the yellowtail crudo, to the pasta was superb. We tried the lobster squid ink pasta and it was perfectly cooked with lobster in every single bite. My mezcal negroni was one of the best I’ve ever had, and the sorbet was divine. Finally, the service was impeccable (we had multiple staff wait on us and never waited long for anything). I was very very pleasantly surprised when coming here.

Honestly, amazing!! It’s by far one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been in NYC. Food was delicious—hands down to the grilled octopus and the veal chop.

The atmosphere is wonderful and the restaurant itself is beautiful. I loved the hand-blown glass candle holders and the low music—perfect for a great talk.

Lastly, but not least, Amy and all the staff were amazing!

First off, the vibe was intimate and actually immaculate. My risotto was perfectly al dente and had a rich mushroom flavor. My friend’s lasagna literally came in a pan and it was so cheesy. I just wished there would be a bit more espresso in my affogato. Also, our server was amazing!

, Food was beyond amazing.
We sat at the bar.
Sol, our waitress, was kind, helpful, and absolutely wonderful — just like the rest of the staff.
Beautiful place, fun vibes, and honestly, I’ve never enjoyed pasta and salad this much.

We ordered the focaccia, the panzanella, and the burrata — all of them were absolutely delicious. My husband told me it wasn’t polite to lick the plates, so I didn’t… but I really would have.

For the main course, we had the corn agnolotti (pretty sure God made that one himself) and the lobster mafaldine penne. Perfectly balanced and insanely good!!!
We fought over it.
I won.

And most importantly — all of the cheeses were pasteurized, so I could finally indulge in everything like a real person.

Go there ASAP!!

Lovely ambience, attentive service, and great tuna crudo app. My main was a lamb dish that just felt a bit disjointed with way-over-vinegar’d veggies on top. The squid ink pasta was fantastic however.
