Reviews
Ordered chicken biryani, and mixed tandoori grill which comes with Sheesh Kabab, chicken tikka and malai kabab. The less I say the better. I hope I am not disappointing other food lovers, but you can safely stay away if you love biryani and tandoori stuff.
Adult: $18
Kids : $9
Their buffet samosas are packed with herbs and crisp. Unlike other buffets, they aren’t served soggy. The Friday lunch buffet is solid @$16. The Saturday lunch buffet was nice, but I wouldn’t pay the extra outside of special occasions.
I’m a fan of the dal and saag paneer. The mint chutney was nostalgic. Meat can be dry towards the end of buffet hours, but it’s delectable when simmered right. Their chicken 65 was a bit sweeter, but it took me right back to India. Take care with the biriyani, as the spice is at an authentic level.
Service is solid and courteous.
For takeout, make sure to have them repeat your order back to you. I ordered mild and received a medium spice level. Even after they diluted it with yogurt, my mother still couldn’t eat her goat trotters. Their dinner naan is thick though. And the dinner portions are more than I got from other Indian restaurants for the price.
Their focus on food shows. I haven’t had Indian this fresh or in these portions in Columbus.
Let’s start with the naan. We were charged $4.99 per naan, which set expectations for fresh, made-from-scratch bread. What arrived instead was clearly ready-made naan, reheated in a clay pot, then generously dressed up with butter and garlic—because apparently butter fixes everything. It does not.
The Goat Bhuna Masala had a decent flavor profile, but the meat itself was chewy enough to qualify as jaw exercise. Taste was good, texture was not.
The Handi Shahi Paneer was the highlight of the evening—rich, creamy, yellow gravy, and genuinely enjoyable. Credit where it’s due.
Now, about service: there was one single person doing everything—handling phone orders, seating guests, serving tables, running payments, and possibly contemplating life choices. It screamed extreme cost-cutting, and while we sympathize, it absolutely showed in the experience.
The worst part, however, was the Aachari Paneer. This is supposed to be a dry dish with properly marinated paneer. What we received was sour—not tangy, not achari—sour, which strongly suggests it had been marinated way too long (72+ hours long). It was inedible. We returned the entire dish, for which they didn’t even charge us.
Overall, the experience was frustrating, aggravating, and disappointing. For a first visit, it left a lasting impression—in the worst way possible.
We came curious. We left annoyed.
Unfortunately, they made sure we won’t be coming back.
Went there with a group of friends for a dinner get-together, and we had a full-on feast. Hyderabadi goat biryani, haleem, goat paya, chili chicken, chicken 65, black chana chaat, peaju, aloo chop, eggplant pakora, cauliflower manchurian, chicken tikka masala, pani puri, whole chicken kabeb, buttery masala naan — all of it was .
And for dessert — jalebi is my favorite! They also have gulab jamun and rasgulla.
Cozy vibes, super clean, friendly staff, and plenty of parking too. Great spot for groups or just a chill meal. Highly recommend if you’re into bold desi flavors!
The Chicken 65 was clearly stale — it tasted like it had been cooked days ago, then simply reheated and served. As for the biryani, it was sweet and lacked the authentic flavor one would expect. It didn’t even come close to what you’d get at places like Hyderabad House.
I can confidently say that anyone familiar with proper Indian food, especially biryani, will not enjoy this. Even Salateen Grill, which was here before, served better food than this.
I sincerely hope the owner takes this feedback seriously and improves the quality, or I’m afraid the business won’t last long. I definitely won’t be ordering again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Indian flavors.
