I enjoy ordering off the Chipotle app here and there. I was even understanding when they limited the extra portions. I don’t like the Al pastor but still came back and ordered again to support. But now I’m thoroughly upset. Look at the nice little review I got from an employee I got in my lunch today. I never asked for commentary from someone who works in the back. Employee should be disciplined as you work in a customer service industry.

Hey everyone,

We recently visited the Chipotle on Missouri and were very disappointed with the experience. During peak dinner hours, the restaurant was out of most proteins, including steak and chicken, and we were told there would be a 15-minute wait. When we expressed concern, the response was dismissive and lacked any sense of urgency or care.

What was more concerning was the food handling. The employee preparing the food repeatedly swept ingredients into open containers that were actively in use, creating clear cross-contamination issues. Cleanliness and food safety did not seem to be a priority.

Customer service was also lacking. There were about 10 customers in the store, yet roughly 4 employees stood idle for nearly 20 minutes. When we asked if food could be prepared from another station, we were simply told no, without explanation or effort to help.

Once we finally received our order, the portions were noticeably smaller than what we normally receive at this location. When I voiced my concerns, I was told to fill out a survey, and that was the end of the conversation.

I hope this location takes customer feedback seriously and improves both food safety and service standards. Based on this experience, the level of care and organization was disappointing.

2nd terrible experience with this location in the same day ….
Earlier today I was doordashing and watched the order maker, finish up the only order on her screen while front cash told me that she was in the process of making my customers order …. Then the order maker proceeded to make 4 other orders before she started working on my customers order, which was in queue before any of the others .

I went back to this location to grab myself dinner and had a very unpleasant experience.
I ordered the sofritas bowl ($9.15) with extra guacamole (per usual for the past two years)…. I added two tortilla wraps and sauce on the side … I was charged $17.28 ($5.50 of which was for guacamole) when I questioned the price at the register the worker who made my bowl said it’s extra for quac and I proceeded to ask even if it’s a side for the bowl because I’ve never paid extra. Upon processing how completely outrageous that price is, I asked for a refund and the female manager of this location would not honor my request for a full refund until I had to request it three times ….. I wanted her to make me another bowl without the extra quac but she was not willing to negotiate with me unless I got a full refund and didn’t get anything else . She stated she would just give me $2.75 back and I could keep my bowl and I explained I pay like $13 for my bowl and always have but if she wasn’t willing to accommodate me, then to give me the full refund and I’ll leave. After issuing me my refund, I tell her to have a good night, she snatches my previous bagged order off the counter and tosses it in the trash . I will not be returning to this location and am very upset with the service I didn’t receive .

I understand if policies were changed or previous workers did not uphold company policy but I should not have received such distasteful treatment this evening . My refund should have been honored without questions and remade per request because I am a paying customer who has the free will (or so I thought) to do as I please with my earned income ……

Due to the poor service, these workers lost the company more money than an extra half scoop of guacamole would have and a former loyal customer.

The first young lady serving the food seems to be having a bad day and has an attitude problem. She doesn’t smile doesn’t say hello she just tells you what do you want. I watched her give a young man in front of me great service a smile. She even filled his bowl completely. I literally had to ask for some more food because she didn’t even put a scoop full. She got attitude when I asked her for a little more. Then she doesn’t even finish with the rest of the food portion of hers that goes on the bowl. She just slung it down to the next girl.
I will never come back to this Chipotles and I will tell all my friends to not come here either. She needs to either be retrained or let go, bc if she doesn’t like her job she shouldn’t work here.

The food was fine. The employees are fine. My big complaint is the AI-based phone system that is more A than I and tells you that your call isn’t important. My wife was out running errands and asked me to call and let the restaurant know she would be late picking up her order. She couldn’t get through to a person and the system just kept telling her that the team couldn’t “answer every call” that came in (again, telling you that you are an annoyance) and couldn’t understand her saying she would be late for a pickup. Even asking for “Help” didn’t work. She tried the ChatBot with similar results, and eventually decided that she was being delayed further by her attempts. I called and went through several minutes of trying various versions saying she would be delayed, even insulting the AI (no profanity but others may be so inclined and I wouldn’t blame them), just to see if it could pick up on “disgruntled caller” to see if that elevated things. Nothing. I’m not sure what worked but after about 5 minutes of attempts, I eventually was passed on to someone who was happy to hold on to our food (problem solved).

The system in place can’t handle simple tasks and when you finally get a human, you know they expect you to be upset. I honestly feel bad for the employees. I’m not sure if this problem is a manager decision or a corporate one, but what is in place is is only really effective at communicating that you are a nuisance to this business, and they would rather not have you bother them.

Not a good experience today at all.
I’ve stopped here before but this was my first online order here.
If I had wanted a crappy chicken burrito that had absolutely almost zero chicken in it, I would have bought a frozen one at Walmart for $1, not 20 bucks for pure disappointment.

After a long and exhausting day at the hospital, Tyler, the General Manager at Chipotle, went truly above and beyond for us. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made a tough day so much better. Customer service like this is rare, and Tyler is an incredible example of leadership done right. Chipotle is very lucky to have him, and he absolutely deserves recognition. Tyler is a shining star.

Went at 7:00pm on a Friday. Late enough after the dinner rush and enougg time to refill and reset. Everything was empty and they were “cooking” every meat out of the same single pan in the back. I’ve ordered from there before on Uber eats and thought it was a one off terrible meal so I gave it a chance on door dash… same results… I finally had to go see it in person. Never had a bad experience from any other Chipotle, just this one. People only leave reviews when things are great or things are terrible, sadly it would’ve been better staying a closed down Burger King.

This Chipotle is always on point. I got a burrito and it was made exactly how I asked, with fresh ingredients and great portions. Even though it was busy, the staff was friendly and moved the line quickly. The restaurant was clean and everything tasted great. Definitely one of the better Chipotle locations.

Random daily things
Truly disappointed came in to try the chicken Al pastor. The worker Miriam told us it was an online order option only. Even though on chipotles website it says it’s not exclusive to online, and can be ordered in store. She then proceeded to make our bowl and give us half scoops of regular chicken. And trust me I’m not one to ever be picky about how much they actually put on, but this time it was noticeable less amount then even a regular scoop. Miriam needs better training in all aspects and chipotle needs to be held accountable for poor training. Will not be returning to this location .
