Been to Soma Bistro today and tried their Butter Chicken Pizza and their desserts. The pizza was so filling and the side of butter sauce was amazing. Cannot have it enough. The mango pastry was very moist and not too sweet. It was perfect. Everything was served on time. Would definitely be back.

Seen the viral butter chicken pizza on TikTok and instantly knew I had to try it…so glad I did the pizza was dang near perfection, doughy and nicely browned with an even coat of toppings, and the butter sauce was the star of the show bring all of the flavor…the only thing it was missing for me is the spice factor although it comes with a packet of red pepper flakes I would love a spicer version of the sauce.
Now let’s talk about customer service!!! Sonia & Bobby were amazing…such a delightful encounter, sweet and very personable. You can tell they take pride in their business and their customer interactions.They offered me a free cup of their chia tea while I waited for my order which was delicious. I’m a chai girly and like my chai how I like my coffee (strong and sweet), it could have been a tad bit bolder for my liking but very flavorful nonetheless . The kind gesture alone has guaranteed me to be a regular going forward, thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality that came along with the great tasting food.
Brought my Bae back the next day and he also enjoyed…Overall I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes from Soma Bistro & Cafe

Today Visited the newly renamed Soma Bistro & Café (formerly Curry N Cake Indian Restaurant). Tried their pastry and Irani chai, and the experience was a bit mixed. The pastry was quite good—fresh and enjoyable. However, the Irani chai was disappointing and I’d rate it 1/5; it lacked the authentic flavor and balance you’d expect.
The ambiance is tiny but pleasant, giving the place a cozy feel. Overall, a decent spot for pastries, but the chai definitely needs improvement.

Fantastic experience. I ordered the chicken Manchow soup and it was absolutely incredible rich, savory, and perfectly spiced. Everything else we ordered was just as good: bold flavors, fresh naan, and generous portions. My wife and I are really happy to have found such a yummy, affordable spot so close to home. Friendly service, food came out hot and fast, and we’ll definitely be back. They also do cakes and desserts to go.

This place the truly a Charlotte “Hidden gem”. Legit, I ordered the Chilli Chicken Dosa, first time have Dosa, was given a great explanation, it came out HUGE, what you see in the pics is about half. Flavor base is amazing, could’ve been spicier for my taste, but they were trying to be considerate without asking.the butter chicken was SMACK! Again, not as spicy as I’d like, still extremely satisfying and savory. Both entrees had an amazing amount of meat, chopped in uneven chuck, making it feel more homemade. The chef, Muthu, is a blessed in the kitchen. You can tell he learn how to cook from his mother, aunty, and/or grandma. I highly recommend this place to anybody read in this and look for a chill spot with good music and authentic tasty dishes. 10/10, come through and get to Indian o!!!

I saw the viral butter chicken pizza on TikTok and had to try it anddddd…it was DELICIOUS! I have to say that their authentic Indian dish- the chicken seekh was super flavorful and all of their sauces are perfection! Dinner for 2 was about $40. I will be back soon

My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant and we were blown away by the flavors! The mango lassi was refreshing with a hint of cardamom. The butter chicken pizza was so unique and a delicious combo of flavors on a pizza. The hot and sour veg soup was aromatic and warming.
We’d definitely swing through again and would recommend this for others to try out!

Quiet little unassuming bistro that has a great selection of Indian foods. We really wanted to try one of the unique pizzas and we were not disappointed with the paneer tikka masala. The star of the meal had to be the gobi achari. It was perfectly fried and the right amount of spice at medium.

Amazing food! Very reasonably priced
We got the chicken Vindaloo , chicken tikka masala, naan, samosas and mango cake
They give a good portion of rice and the chicken vindaloo was very tender and juicy, the curry was spiced well and the naan was soft.
