Finally got a chance to check out Exeter Apothecary and it did not disappoint! We grabbed a seat at the bar and enjoyed watching the entire team flow so seamlessly. The customer service was top notch even as they never stopped moving. The place is small and was packed full but they took their time with every customer. The bartenders were attentive and very personable. I loved that every dish was explained when it came out. It is very clear that everyone there has a passion for everything they create! The drinks were incredible and the small plates are beyond words! The original plan was to grab a drink and small plate and head off to dinner somewhere but we couldn’t resist sampling half the menu and left happy and full! Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys craft cocktails and unique food!

I hesitate to give this place the review it deserves because I want a chance at getting back in! The food (charcuterie/cheese plate and dessert sampler) were top-notch, the cocktails were delicious, and our server was very attentive and explained the menu well. The atmosphere was enjoyable and well appointed. Overall, a great choice for meeting friends over cocktails.

We have been downstairs to Vino e Vivo several times. Came here for a nightcap to check out the space. Excellent drinks. Good music that wasn’t too loud, and a mixed age crowd. Beautifully renovated space that is super cozy. We had celebrated a birthday with dinner downstairs, and they brought us a delicious birthday dessert! We will be back!

Stopped in and wow what an experience! Lydia crafted the most incredible espresso martini I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced, smooth, and absolutely delicious. On top of that, the vibe here is cozy and welcoming, and Lydia’s energy makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this spot!

A nice little hidden gem in NH. The whole vibe inside feels like a speakeasy bar. Cocktails crafted to perfection, limited menu selection but the dishes taste amazing and delicious, and the server Nate was top notch. Will definitely be back and recommend to my friends and everyone to visit. Please keep the quality and standards pretty high.

An old apothecary repurposed to a speakeasy. This is what Exeter needed, a cocktail bar that is open until 11. While the rest of the town sleeps, you can be enjoying lush desert cocktails or house specials such as ‘Tony’s martini’. Some of the best small plates from Vino downstairs are served here such as the Duck/Venison Bolognese + other more bar friendly things like pastrami sliders or a NY chopped cheese. ‘Fine dining style obviously’.
