This place is absolutely so was our server named Adolfo he was great. This place has a freaking Robot what in Mcminnville Tn. I live in Tampa and I haven’t seen a Robot in Tampa. Looking forward to our next trip up here to eat here again

The inside of the restaurant was amazing & very vibrant. You wouldn’t know it from the outside. The food was fine, but the service was top notch! I had an issue with my plate, it was fixed without question & boxed up for me. The bathroom was also clean & in working order. Always a win in my book.

We are originally from California. My biggest complaint was that the Mexican restaurants here are quite subpar. Las Trojas however is outstanding. It is the only place I would recommend to anyone. We’ve enjoyed many of the dishes prepared here. All are delicious.
Portion sizes are okay. In comparison, for the same price in Cali we definitely received less food. But I guess these food prices mean less food for the money.
Today we enjoyed the Alambres $18.60 and the grande burrito with chicken $16.90. Both were really good. One of my favorite meals is the Hawaiian quesadilla $19.60. I usually have leftovers.
I also want to mention the Mexican rice. I’m sort of a rice snob. I love rice.,I love Mexican rice. Honestly one of the reasons I love Mexican food so much is because I love the rice. There is no other restaurant in town that prepares rice as authentic as Las Trojas.

The quality in their dishes aren’t as consistent as I would hope, but the baseline is always okay. We’ve yet to have anything bad, so that is a win in my book. The service 9 times out of 10 is friendly and we do always enjoy ourselves. Seating is spacious and comfortable, silverware is clean, and in all but one visit the premises was very clean and appealing. Prices are higher here than others, however I do believe the portion sizes definitely even out with expenses. I enjoy my left overs the next day every time. Overall a wonderful place for a nice dinner out.

OK, first of all, let’s just get the elephant out of the room. Everyone says that it is expensive. Everything now is expensive. This is no more than any other place. That is my opinion. Now to the next order of business is the quality and atmosphere and service. It was super awesome. That’s really what I can say is clean loads of TVs large bar big tables nice furniture. The staff was well dressed and very well mannered and really nice. The last thing in most important is the food. I absolutely loved it. I had the chicken with mushrooms and peppers and chorizo. Oh my was it really good! So my opinion is, I would definitely recommend this place especially for large parties.

I eat here at least 3-4 times a week and usually get to-go orders on the weekends. Normally I am always satisfied with the service and the food …until recently. The service has been unacceptable to say the least from a couple of employees. One heavy set Hispanic woman who is always up front now is not only rude but has messed up my order 3 times already . Mind you it’s the same thing I order every time and have ordered since this restaurant has came to McMinnville. She doesn’t apologize, fights to correct the order and somehow acts like it’s a nuisance for her to fix the order which should have been correct to begin with and has no name tag for me to tell her management about her. Well you can bet I’ll be there first thing in the morning to address the issue.

Alfonso was a very attentive server. The food was very delicious and the serving sizes were large. We had enough to take home and enjoy again. They were very liberal on the chips and salsa.

Ordered online and showed up when it said ready for pickup. I tell them my order. After multiple attempts to ask about my order being ignored they finally went back to the kitchen. I was forced to wait over another 30. Everyone else was getting their orders but me. There was a couple there who showed up when I did and had been seated, served and was settling the bill while I was there. This was clearly not a case of them being busy as half the tables where empty. Once I got my food I was disappointed. It was a simple order of steak fajitas and there wasn’t more than 2 ounces of steak if that. The rest of the dish was half an onion and grease. This wasn’t the experience I’ve had in the past but they won’t get another chance with me.

Came to McMinnville from Dunlap to pick up some trees and asked the locals where to eat. Needless to say we have ate here twice now and can’t wait for the third! Come hungry, portions are huge.

Their Manager is so on it. His Name is Auturo, he is really doing a super job. Best value and flavor in mcminnville Tennessee. Their street tacos are really huge. I am going to call them gourmet tacos.
They make the best green creama salsa I have had. Today they served a roasted red pepper salsa. Best I have ever had. This the best Mexican restaurant that I know of.
