Piccalilli is a stunning place – absolutely blew me away. Fantastic location with a beautiful patio, perfect for an evening out. The food is fantastic, with a great variety of flavors and spices, and the drinks, especially the mezcal, are strong. Highly recommend a night out in Culver City and getting the brussel sprouts and the hamachi collar here.

Absolutely blown away by Piccalilli! From the moment we walked in, the experience was seamless and welcoming (and has been for the past 3 times I have come in). The service by the GM, Adolfo, and the AGM, Diogo, was warm and attentive. They were genuinely passionate about the food they serve.
Now the food—WOW! Every dish was an explosion of flavors. The ingredients tasted fresh, the presentation was beautiful, and the flavor combinations were next-level. I highly recommend the brussels sprouts, Nam Prik chicken wings, green papaya salad, katsu!
They also offer Happy Hour, which has great deals and great drinks!

Happy Hour crawl is what we have been up to lately. Culver is a place rich in Happy Hour spots all within walking distance between restaurants.
Piccalilli was our day’s adventure. 5pm-6pm Monday to Thursday. 4pm to 6pm Friday to Sunday.
It is a hipster, fusion Asian spot that serves a modern take on familiar South East Asian cuisine.
Today I had the chicken wings, the pork jowl, rice and cocktail called Bangao Tea.
The pork jowl $10 – has that slight sweetness to it, there is a level of smokey caramelized flavor while the sauce is light soy and has a slight tartness savory flavor to it. It reminds me of the Filipino style bbq from the streets of Philippines.
The pork jowl dish will need a rich base to be appreciated.
The Nam Prik chicken wings is sweet and had a slight spiciness to it. Just a little spice not enough to make you tear up. The serving was quite generous for the price.
I had the Bangtao Tea cocktail. It has thar herby Thai Tea and coconut milk base mixed with a shot of vodka. It is good!
Service was excellent. Our server was quite attentive.
There was one 3% I noticed buried deep in my bill that says ‘Kitchen Love’. I could have easily overlooked the item and just sign away.
I am not a fan of these fees. Like most people we’re already at the point of tip fatigue in California. I wish this was more visible , obvious and communicated up front.
The happy hour trip – 2 dishes, rice a cocktail was a $50 affair.
Other than that overall experience was excellent.

Fantastic staff made the evening so easy and enjoyable. Easily shareable Asian inspired plates made it fun to get a taste of many of the dishes, all great. Two words, hamachi collar! Most of all don’t skip the inspired cocktail menu!! Will return soon.

I had low expectations for this spot simply because Culver City isn’t exactly known for anything culinary worth mentioning, but yeah, this place is GREAT. We went on a Sunday evening, got right in. The $10 martinis were strong and delicious. We then ordered some “custom cocktails” and the bartender came over personally to ask us if certain changes to the drinks would be ok. She showed an immense amount of care for what she made us, and it showed. Absolutely fantastic cocktails.
The food was also really great. Highly recommend the cheeseburger and the Brussel sprouts. The pork jowl was really good too.
To top it off, the service was impeccable.
Will be making this my Sunday evening spot from now on!

Really good fusion restaurant. It was delicious. Family style sharing restaurant. We got a lot of smaller dishes. The papaya salad was amazing! Recommend the brussel sprouts and wings also. We tried a few of the drinks. Some were hits. Some were misses, per our taste. I’d recommend 2-3 dishes per person at the table.

Lovely ambiance with friendly and attentive service. Love th patio seating with lively street view. Good happy hour small plates (Brussel sprouts & pork jowl) and drinks. Yhe cocktail was not overly sweet which was a lovely plus! Had the tomato curry with smoked vegetables that was delicious.

Good cocktails, bread with butter, and dessert. But, lots of flavor masked by heat. For the price, wanting heat a local Thai takeout would be a better deal. Doesn’t help, I think I got food poisoning here too but overall flavors aren’t bad just aren’t worth the price tag. Also, still using QR codes but can’t order by QR code. Missed opportunity.

This place is so so so good! I went with my husband the first time. We were amazed by all the beautiful flavors. The naan is top tier, especially with the curried or seasoned butter! The Brussels were delicious, the sauce used is so tasty. The wings are amazing and papa salad. Everything we have had here has been A 1.

Been living in the LA area for over 5 years now and this is easily one of the best experiences I’ve had. Food was tasty (on the saltier side) and our server gave us great recommendations. Drinks were outstanding, I recommend trying the slushy options.
