The names speaks for itself, its definitely rusty :/

Water smells odd, plus their poor ventilation will leave you smelling like food when you leave.. food is very mediocre probably your basic Sysco type of food, that is thrown into oven to reheat

But $18 for a burger is pretty high, fries was good and crunchy, but bacon was stale. And ranch was really sour, never taste ranch this bad, since zips is right across them and costs half the price and probably taste better.

This place was probably a one time visit type of place for me.

Our waitress was very friendly. Food was so so. Pancakes were immediately unappetizing because they were so pale. Biscuits & gravy was bland, & biscuits were so hard on the bottom my knife couldn’t cut them. 3 tv screens no sound. Quiet music coming from kitchen. Might return to give them another shot.

Sunday Morning at Uncle Rusty’s Diner
If you are looking for the quintessential Sunday morning breakfast experience, look no further than Uncle Rusty’s Diner. We recently visited as a family of four, and from the moment we stepped through the doors, it was clear that this isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a place to feel welcome.
The first thing you notice is the atmosphere. We were greeted immediately by a wait staff that can only be described as “pure fun.” In a world where service can often feel rushed or robotic, the team here brings a genuine energy and humor that kept our whole family smiling before the coffee even hit the table. They handled the Sunday morning rush with a level of charisma that is rare to find.
When it came to the menu, the selection was impressive. Whether you are a fan of the classics or looking for a hearty start to your day, the food selection is more than decent—it’s thoughtfully prepared and satisfying. We found that the portions were generous, yet the prices remained right on point. In an era of rising costs, Uncle Rusty’s manages to offer great value without compromising on the quality of the meal or the size of the plate.
It is the perfect neighborhood staple. If you find yourself in this part of town, do yourself a favor and stop by. Whether you are local or just passing through, Uncle Rusty’s earns a high recommendation for anyone wanting a high-energy, high-value breakfast to kick off their week.

Went as a group of 7, all food was cold or barely warm, overall the food was not good. My wife threw up as soon as we got home. My drink had a floaty in it. We were the only people in the restaurant on a Saturday night which says a lot about this place. Food took exceptionally long to come out for being only us in the restaurant. Service was otherwise great and it’s an awesome atmosphere. If this place doesn’t get a good chef soon idk how much longer they will make it. They only offer the most basic of meals. I’m not sure how we all got pretty awful meals. Was my first and last time here.
We collectively got prime rib, burger, max and cheese, breakfast dishes.

Got the Hungry Man. Eggs cooked perfectly! Sausages were delicious. Bacon perfect. A little light on the hash browns but they were very tasty. Then she brought out my pancakes and I was like ok- that’s gotta come home with me (much much bigger than I expected! Haven’t tried them yet). Great service. Good food. Came out fast and was exactly as expected. Fair pricing too! Even with my tip it came out to like 25-30 bucks each for two of us. Will be back especially since it’s within walking distance of where I live.

I ordered biscuits and gravy, the biscuits are a little bigger than a fifty cent piece.. the omelets are small, the pancakes are not pancakes , they are crepes.. But The eggs and sausage look good..

Probably one of the best chicken Fry Steak I’ve had the privilege.. definitely going back!! Real gravy.
Real hand dipped chicken Fry steak!! Makes swinging door look like Mc Donald’s. I ordered chicken Fry steak with white’s only.. swinging door has no idea how to separate yoke from eggs.. I hope you try this place.. it’s food is next level!!

Grey food, grey everything, tasteless and the hashbrowns were put in the microwave for 23 seconds before serving. Do not recommend! The hashbrowns are GREY and they served that! Tummy ache central! And the ketchup was awful!

Let me just say – Holy Crap, so insanely good. I got the Chili & Cheese omelette, and I’m fairly certain everything on my plate was homemade and made to order, expertly. I haven’t had real home made hashbrowns like this in years, and our server confirmed the chili was made to order to, which I think speaks volumes about their commitment to freshness. Service was amazing as well, our server Rosie was prompt, attentive, and incredibly personable. All in all 10/10, plan on coming back very soon 🙂
