My wife and I came her for Valentine’s Day. It was a wonderful experience and will absolutely come back again. My wife had the Bison Pot Roast, and I had the Steak. They were delicious! Both cooked to perfection. Oh, the Peach Shortcake was to die for! The staff were courteous and professional, a little dry, but maybe that goes with the upscale dining (who knows). The ambiance was beautiful! Right off of the hotel lobby, there was even a live performer on his acoustic guitar. The place was bustling.

We thought the menu seemed “heavy” not sure what we mean by that maybe we just picked two heavy dishes. Caesar Salad was great as was the Chicken Pot Pie – huge helpings. My Bison Pot roast was a huge helping also… BUT the meat was stringy and chewy. I took a couple of bites and did not finish the main meat course. That could have been my mistake in ordering I just thought all pot roast would be tender… the atmosphere was pleasant and classy. Prices were as expected for that type of establishment but $42 for Meatloaf seems a wee bit overpriced. My pot roast was $44… would we go back? Probably not unless staying there again at the hotel.

Went here last night to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Travis and his team were amazing. I went ahead of our reservation to leave flowers and a gift for my wife to have at the table when we arrived. Travis took this opportunity to pick out a special table for our reservation. When we arrived and came to the table, they had the items there for my wife and the surprise went perfectly. Brayden our server was polite, professional and very accommodating. We have some dietary needs (Gluten and dairy free). The chef was open to going off the menu to accommodate our requests and the food was exquisite. The ambiance and views from this restaurant are stunning. 10 out of 10 recommend!

For a restaurant at a hotel of this level this place is kind of out of place. Pamela’s is more upscale than what the hotel/area would suggest. The food is either hit or miss, We had the pork belly, and scallops. The scallop dish was excellently executed and all the garnish on the dish complemented the proteins well. The pork belly on the other hand felt too heavy and tough, I had a very hard time cutting it with my knife. When considering this is a restaurant in a hotel, the price isnt too crazy as you are also paying for the convenience.

We were a little nervous about dining at Pamela’s based on recent reviews, but our experience was wonderful. It was a Saturday evening, and we found the tables to be more comfortable than the booths. We chose to sit inside due to the heat wave, but they also have a very nice patio. The sun was bright through the curtains and mirrors on the back wall for about 20 minutes, as we faced northwest, before it went behind the mountains. Once the sun set, the view improved significantly, allowing them to open the curtains and offer an even better ambiance.
For our meal, we ordered the lamb chops, lobster mac n’ cheese, mashed potatoes as sides, a ribeye, and scallops. Everything was cooked to perfection—medium rare for the steak—and there were no issues with the quality of the meat. Every dish was incredibly delicious. Our favorites were the lamb chops, steak, and lobster mac n’ cheese.
We found the prices to be comparable to other fine dining establishments across the country. Our waiter was attentive and took excellent care of us—offering extra butter, refilling drinks, and accommodating our requests with ease. The portion sizes were generous enough that most entrees could be shared, but overall, we found both the food and service to be outstanding.

It was our first time today July 28th 2025. Went for our 13th Anniversary. Food was delicious. Everything else was good. Nice Mountain View. Only one fly was bugging me and my husband. Otherwise good atmosphere. The server Stacie was polite and asked for allergies that was nice. We definitely take our family next time. We both Loved it.

Pamela does some items exceptionally well (a lot of their sides) while misses on some of their main dishes which felt really bad considering the higher price point. Their lobster mac is labeled as a side but it was the main event of our dining experience. If you are a pasta or cheese lover that was the best thing on their menus for us. Their brussel sprouts were also cooked to perfection.
Criticism and feedback: The mussels we got were overcooked and had little to no wine sauce, I think the dish badly needed moisture but the spice and flavor was there. The trout was also overcooked, and overall it ruined the fish however the lemon caper sauce was delicious, I think if the cook time was right the dish could be a winner.
The really good: The staff and service I thought was amazing for dinner and breakfast for us. Our servers were mindful, kind and had attention to detail it was also a very decorated and romantic space especially at night.
Overall for me the service and lobster mac was so good I can’t rate this less than a 4/5 even if some of the mains in our experience did not feel worth the price.

Recommended. Enjoyed our dinner at Pamela’s. Service was attentive without being disruptive, and pleasant without being cloying. An ok number of menu items, I expect most people will find a least one or more items compelling. Food was very good, but perhaps a little overpriced (what isn’t these days?) I can’t recall ever ordering meatloaf in a restaurant…but their’s sounded interesting (a mix of bison and another meat I don’t recall), and it was very good. I would order that again. My wife enjoyed the beet/arugula salad with salmon as an add-on. The peach cobbler was served very, very warm with ice cream…wow, excellent. As this restaurant is in the Polaris Hotel/conference center, I’m guessing it is where guests have breakfast. The decor has a modern vibe.
June 2025 Update: Father’s Day Brunch. Arrived early, so we were the only ones in the restaurant at first. Food was very good again…particularly the special eggs benedict with wagyu beef. Service was great mostly. We ordered the featured dessert when we ordered the entree, but for some reason we waited quite a while for it to arrive after they cleared our entree plates. The place was not very busy by then, so not sure what caused the wait. Fortunately we were not in a hurry.

Delightful first experience dining at Pamela’s. It was the Easter Brunch and we felt inspired by the views and atmosphere.
Good food, well presented. I had one of the specials, a crab salad with asparagus, and my husband enjoyed the breakfast burrito, which is a regular dish on the breakfast menu. (Kudos to whoever made the excellent hatch chili salsa! If you ever bottle it, I’m buying it!)
A highlight was the warm, friendly staff—from the folks opening the doors, to the servers, to everyone roaming inside and out and making conversation with us. We felt so welcome.
After brunch we sat out on the beautiful terrace and took in views of the mountains and academy. We definitely want to come back on another sunny day and sip a drink out there.
This venue is a wonderful addition to the local area.

While there’s still some roughness in the new operation, our visit to Pamela’s was overall very good. The facility is fantastic! Prices are reasonable, and the food is good. The one strike was that it took some extra time to get our meal during low patronage with many open tables. Not an issue if you’re looking for a leisurely meal in a beautiful setting. We’ll be back to see how things progress.
