I’m a regular customer and come in almost every morning around 9 AM to buy the same thing — three empanadas. Unfortunately, almost every single time, they’re not ready yet and I’m told I’ll need to wait anywhere from 15–20 minutes for a fresh batch to come out of the oven.
The staff is polite and friendly, and this is not a complaint about them. In fact, they know this happens so often that when they see me walk in, they already ask if I’m okay waiting for them — which says a lot. It shows this is a known, daily issue.
At 9 AM, a bakery/restaurant shouldn’t consistently be out of empanadas or breakfast pastries. That’s peak breakfast time, and many customers are on their way to work and don’t have an extra 15–20 minutes to wait every day. The fact that this happens so regularly makes it seem like a production or planning issue that may not be reaching management or ownership.
I truly enjoy the food and keep coming back, but I hope this feedback reaches the owner or manager so more empanadas can be prepared ahead of time in the morning. It would make a big difference for loyal, everyday customers. Here is a picture of how empty the display looks at peak breakfast time.

Patagonia is a fantastic Argentinian restaurant and bakery with excellent food and outstanding service—both easily deserve 5 stars. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The staff is friendly, attentive, and professional.
The only downside is the space and temperature control. The place is a bit small, and it can feel too hot when the sun is out and too cold when it rains or at night. The owner doesn’t allow adjustments to the thermostat, which is noticeable since most employees wear hoodies to stay comfortable.
One suggestion that could really help is tinting the front windows to reduce heat and improve overall comfort.
Despite this, it’s still highly recommended—great food and service make it well worth visiting.

Ordered latte and got cappuccino, order breakfast sandwich and got hot eggs and cold cheese and ham. I asked for it to be heated in the oven and instead they put it in the microwave. 0 common sense. Won’t be back

Amazing spot! The place has great vibes, friendly service, and it’s consistent. Definitely one of my favorite stops in the area! ☕️✨ Mel is the best!!! Every time I stop by, she greets everyone with genuine kindness and such positive energy. You can tell she really cares about the people who walk in. Her coffee is on another level! Smooth, flavorful, and always made with love. If you’re anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and come see Mel. She makes the whole experience amazing. ☕️

So…this is my neighborhood Patagonia restaurant. Just so that everyone knows, Argentinian cuisine is mostly a meat based diet. If you’re a vegan or vegetarian don’t go unless you eat a salad. This location has the best chef that works only in the afternoons. The ladies that work in the afternoons during the weekday are some really nice people. The food is to die for! I have personally tried many of their food items. But the meal that my body craves is the delicious steak wrap with pesto and veggies. The chef that makes them in the afternoon literally puts her love in all of her dishes. And this is just the icing on the cake. But what really puts the cherry on top of this restaurant is all of the sweet baked goods. My favorite sin that I love to eat is called the strawberry dulce de leche (that’s Spanish for caramel) Pavlova!!! It’s literally to die for. I don’t know why they taste wonderful. It’s light, airy, sweet, and crunchy all in one bite. So if you are ever in the neighborhood please check this restaurant out. It’s right next door to the Mathnesium and Wendy’s. Don’t forget to also try their coffees and empanadas.
