Great tasting food, large portions, worth the wait. Catering is also available.
I ordered a Lighter BBQ Chicken with Spam Musubi on the side. I also ordered for my friends so it was a big order. Food was well seasoned, tender, and perfectly cooked. I didn’t find anything too salty, but I will say that the rice was soggy and overcooked. My dish came with salad on the side and it was pretty good despite the dry old carrots. Their Mac and Cheese is super soft and creamy.
We waited 40 minutes for some good eats! It was well worth the wait. The owner was really nice and tried his best to manage a one-man kitchen.

plates are really small & expensive compared to Carson ,Ca location
Look at pictures. Beef ribs are smaller than plastic fork . Go to Carson & you’ll get 2 big beef ribs on your mix plate.

Lot of parking. Seems like only owner work there. Very slow service. If u want order to go u will waste more than 30 mins here. Not happy with service. Prices are going up and service going down.

I used to go same place in Norwlk and tried here too but absoultely the portion is way smaller!! Can’t believe how franchise can be this different.

I remember when this particular location first opened. It was a perfect addition to the local area . The food was excellent and worth every penny. I would eat here at least 3 times a week. That was in 2005-2007 . I ate here for the first time since then yesterday. Not only has the food quality plummeted but the size of the portions are pathetic. I will never eat at this location again unless some serious improvement is made . I spent $50 on 2 seafood combos and 1 cheeseburger combo . The fish was smaller than the shrimp. But at least the 2 giant scoops of rice made up for it . (Not really) . Food was terrible , hard and not even worth $10.

Very disappointed with the wait time & serving amount. Very little portions for 2 plates 1 bbq mix & 1 seafood combo for $43 ridiculous also waited 40 min for my food as well . I have been to Pico Rivera, Carson & Fullerton CA locations the best one so far is Carson ca . I DONT RECOMMENDED THE CYPRESS CA LOCATION AT ALL . Stay away if you don’t want to be disappointed

I had a poor experience on my visit to L&L. There was only one person working when I arrived at 6:50pm. There had been people waiting for their food but no one was cooking because the worker was busy taking orders. I waited over 30 minutes for my food which had a lot of burn beef and chicken. While the meat was cooking the work would walk away to take more orders or do other duties. The restaurant itself was clean. I don’t have any plans to visit again in the near future.

Portions are really small. Very over priced. People who work there are rude. Wait time is a nightmare. And if they mess up your order they will refuse to fix it or give you a refund. Be aware of this. Food is also disgusting. Listen to the other reviews and make the drive to a different location.
