i ordered a side of fries and found so many that were inedible and made from bad potatoes. genuinely so devastating because i love the nashville hot so much. unfortunately this isnt the first time i’ve been disappointed in the quality of food at this location. coralville quintons ride or die ¯_(ツ)_/¯

It’s an ok college type bar with a full menu of drinks and bar food. The simple bar food is adequate, but nothing special. The staff tries to do their best to keep you happy, though. There are many other better places downtown. All our food came out cold. Cheese curds were below average, and we aren’t even picky.

I’m wrapping up now. Got the buffalo and Mac. First… The buffalo chicken can’t hold it’s batter. So it falls off into the sauce and mixes with everything. So basically clumpy Buffalo flower.Yuk. The bad part is that the Mac taste good but they don’t give you much. It’s mostly chicken and junk batter and hot sauce . The fries were exactly that.. Fries. But the”kids” in the kitchen don’t shake the fry basket. So u end up with a clump of over salted fries. Paid with drinks (full price) missed happy hour by about 6 minutes. Oh well. It is what it is. Learning experience. Go to a college runned city your gonna get kids running the show. I believe the business earns their keep because of college kids and especially drunk ones will eat anything.

We came back to Iowa City to celebrate our 10 year anniversary in March and we’re looking for a nice small business to support. We stopped here for lunch and we got amazing food, great service and our expectations were beyond met! The food servings were large, especially for the price. The waitresses were super nice and answered a few questions we had about the parking meters (LOL) without judgement.

We look forward to coming back!!!

The burgers here are really good. Unique combos. Fries are pretty delicious too. The drinks aren’t the cheapest and neither is the food but the atmosphere and crowd are nice and it’s just a cool place. Worth checking out for sure.

Very good! Service and food was wonderful. Wings were moist and tossed in the garlic parmesan sauce. Jalapeno poppers were some of the best that I had ever had.
Update: I’ve been there the last 2 Sunday’s and they are out of wings…..so disappointed.
