Horrible service. I waited over 20 minutes just to order my food and i ended up leaving instead. One person was working both the register and cooking. I was at this location on different ocassion and it was the same experience. Ridiculous. Get more employees!!! Also, competant enough to work the register. Hope they get paid extra for working double duty. Shame on you Waba management.

I literally found a piece of frozen paper in my salad that said August 28 on it. I hope I didn’t unknowingly eat the rest of the paper. Do they not check what they serve people. Shame on you waba I will never be back to this establishment again. Beware customer’s this is what they are serving people. And I tried calling to avoid driving back and no answers the phone

Worst chicken bowl. My chicken was butchered…instead of chopped it looked shredded. The chicken was so dry and hard to chew. The rice and veggies were good, however I had a long thin chicken bone in my white rice, it hurt the roof of my mouth. I was very much looking forward to my chicken bowl. No wonder when u pass by its never busy. Do not recommend this place. Never had this problem at other locations. I almost forgot to mention that my husband paid extra for avocado, and it was not in my order when he brought it home.

“I went to Waba Grill for lunch today and was impressed by the outstanding service. There were only two ladies running the place—one cooking and Rosie handling the cashier—but they were doing a fantastic job. I hardly ever post reviews, especially not negative ones. Placed an online order at 9:24, place closes at 10:30. I arrive to the place and it’s closed, with a “be back in 30” sign. Already knew it wasn’t going to be a good experience. I see the 2 workers cleaning in a rush, like they just want to get out of there (which I understand), but there’s more than an hour left for the place to close! I check my order to see if it’s complete and looks good from the outside, but when I get home I’m in for the nastiest looking chicken I have ever seen, there was raw parts in it, there was absolutely no grilling, maybe some boiling and I don’t wanna go too in depth, I’ll just let the couple of photos I took speak fro them selves.
I go back to show it to them, they agree it’s not well cooked and offered to redo it. I don’t want them to dirty the stuff they just cleaned, though I wonder what would happen with the next few orders. I asked for a refund.
They couldn’t process
a refund because it was an online order. They called the manager, and I talked to her, she would process the refund until tomorrow morning.
It’s not so much about the money, it’s the time wasted, the exposure to raw chicken, and just an overall bad experience.
Would give it Zero stars if possible.

I have been to other locations and usually love their food. However, I recently went to this location and I think the menu was recently updated. I ordered their chicken salad and I was disappointed to find out that it is now made lettuce instead of kale like it used to be. The portion was smaller and the chicken was cut very thin

Personally, I’m not sure why I occasionally dine-in or purchase take out meals from this specific location. It’s probably the close proximity to my home and the travel time is under ten minutes. However, the service is absurd and the wait is usually twenty minutes or so. Some fellow reviewers might feel that this critique is too harsh or feel I’m being dismissive. I’m not sorry, I really don’t care and I’m sure WaBa Grill will continue to gain revenue. That’s the customer’s choice, time, and money if they wish to eat here or not. Nonetheless, I’ve been here dozens of times and results are generally the same. I’ll change my view and perhaps give a higher rating if the production is up on the ante. Until then, they’ll need improve.
