This has been my favorite Jamaican spot thus far ! I live 10 minutes local to this restaurant and I’ve been on the hunt for the best Jamaican spot in the area and so far this is my first 10/10 experience! I was skeptical to order the Escovitch fish due to no pictures or in depth reviews but I was NOT DISAPPOINTED!!! the fish is pricey for the size however the flavor and the freshness was undefeated! It was crispy , flaky , and tender ! A little more peppers would be nice! The macaroni, cabbage, and rice&peas was DELICIOUS! The rice and peas was cooked to perfection! The cabbage is sautéed which is different than the spicy Jamaican feel I’m used to so, it would be nice to see spicy cabbage as an option in the future. We tried the regular Mac and cheese as opposed to vegan and it was rich ! As a whole everything could’ve used more seasoning (but I’m sure you can request heavier seasoning when you order!) . We tried the plantains and they were DELIGHTFUL soooo soft and so fresh ! Cooked to perfection! Reminded me of my Bahamas trip when I tried them on the island. Sweet potato casserole was a nice addition and the pecans were a nice touch /finish. Overall rating 4/5 due to price for fish. No complaints other than price ✨

I wanted to try the vegan options. The first time I went was mid February and I got the vegan curry lamb, cabbage, collards, sweet potato soufflé, peas and rice, vegan Mac AND vegan fried chicken with jerk sauce for dipping. Vegan fried chicken DIDN’T MAKE IT HOME! EXCEPTIONAL service! Something for everybody! Today me and Mom went. She got the curry chicken, collards, plantains, peas and rice. She LOVED IT! Definitely our go to Jamaican restaurant on the east side!

Walked in and was served. I wasn’t completely sure If they had sizes but I didn’t say nor was asked. I had oxtail with rice and peas, green beans and plantain with a guava lemonade.I do love you get to choose your own sides besides the usual given cabbage and plantain! Plantain was ripe and sweet. The rice and peas was soft and delicious. The oxtail flavor was so good and it made me wish I had gotten MORE gravy. I just wish the oxtail was a bit more tender. Some parts or some bones were more tender than others but other than that it was really flavorful and tasted very authentic! If The guava lemonade was homemade, it’s very good – a little too sweet but it’s awesome over a cup of ice. I will be coming back again <3

Stumbled across this gem while we were house hunting yesterday, and it was truly worth every penny ! 10/10
The rice was so flavorful, the meat well seasoned and tender. I had the brown stew chicken and my boyfriend had the curry. We initially just went in for beef patties but when we walked in and smelt/seen the food, we were totally doing meals. And never even got a beef patty but didn’t matter because there was no way we were able to eat it. We only ate half our plate of food because the portions were so generous. True island style. The lady serving us was so sweet. I literally will gladly take the 45-50 min trip from Alpharetta any day I want Jamaican food to come to Cami’s !!!!

If you know GA, you know how hard it is to find GOOD AUTHENTIC Jamaican food. Look no further, Camis got it for you! This food was beyond flavorful, delicious and reasonably priced. Didn’t have to wait long either. That sweet potato casserole with the pecans is DIVINE HEAVENLY! My only complaint would probably be that the jerk chicken and gravy was a bit spicy for me but I still cleaned my plate. It was so good I ate right there in the parking lot. Very nice kind people and the restaurant is VERY clean. Stop by Camis and get you some of this good food you will not regret it. Ms. Cami you forever have my business whenever I touch down in GA. Love and blessings to you

First time visiting this restaurant. I’ve been craving some oxtails. They did not disappoint definitely worth the trip. I’ve have not had oxtails in a minute. This is what I’m talking about. The oxtails came with rice I chose rice and peas instead of yellow rice also 2 sides Mac and Cheese and Plantains. I purchased a large oxtails plate on 1-29-2026. Delicious food flavorful and savory oh yeah the gravy. Pull up and check them out for yourself.

I decided to stop by after searching for nearby Jamaican restaurant and this place did not disappoint. Customer service is great, they are very pleasant and accommodating! The food is also very good and I enjoyed the selection of side dishes they offered, some of which you wouldn’t typically find at a Jamaican restaurant. The mac & cheese and sweet potato soufflé are amazing. Definitely can’t wait to eat here again.

I’m vegan so I’m always up for finding a great spot on the east side. Cami’s is my go to spot, especially on Sunday. I always get the fried vegan selection. It come with three sides. I’m going to always get the vegan mac, yellow rice, and cabbage/collard greens. Oooohhh and my sis just put me on to the sweet potato souffle and it is awesome too.

I was so dumbfounded to know this location has been here for 2 going on 3 years (July). The food is very very flavorful – cornbread is soft. I LOVE the kick (spice) that the chicken has, many other places have taken the spiciness away – I love that Cami’s didn’t. I got the privilege to speak with Cami’s daughter, I didn’t know the cornbread was a side and I had already selected 2 sides greens, she was kind enough to give me a cornbread. The green was good as well, they were just a tad bit too salty for me – that’s why the 4 stars. However, I’ll definitely be back. I also go a beef patty – just haven’t tried it yet so I can review it.
