Ordered the Santa Fe wrap didn’t notice that it came with avocado ( I am allergic ) they made me another wrap and let us keep the one one I couldn’t eat. The second wrap came with fries which I already had! Fantastic customer service! Food is absolutely delicious!

This place has great food don’t get me wrong but it had a few things not to my liking, first off the sandwich was HUGE and came with fries too so make sure you have room in your stomach if you come here, secondly it was a bit too greasy for my liking and lastly: WAY too many flies, maybe it’s just me being a little wimp but does anybody like flies when there eating? I did manage to put unwanted scraps on the table beside us which helped ease the fly situation but it is probably better when there is more people. Overall decent food but the place could have a little work

Took a little overnight trip to my hubby’s old
Alma mater Cal Poly SLO. Once we checked in at our hotel we looked for a local spot and hoagies popped up. What a wonderful treat. My hubby got a pastrami and I got a dirty bird. Food was amazing, service top notch and atmosphere relaxed and chill. This seems like a really cool hang place. Oh almost forgot the home made deserts. I chose the chocolate chip cookie. Delish….will definitely visit next time we are in the area.

Our server Ella was the BEST! She is so nice and took care of everything for us. It’s always a good day at Hoagies when she’s here! She is constantly keeping the place clean and always greets us with a smile. Give this girl a raise! She gave us great beer recs and is such a pro at pouring. 10/10 service

Loved the experience here and highly recommend you to try !!! We got the Philly sandwich, tots, club sandwich and I wanted to try an iced mocha. The food is amazing and the coffee was delicious, iced mocha with oat milk was the best I’ve had in a while. Loved the atmosphere and the service was very nice and friendly

If you’re hungry in SLO, Hoagies is the move. Portions here are absolutely enormous—they even keep a self-serve stack of takeout containers by the counter, which tells you everything you need to know. Prices might seem a little high at first glance, but when you realize you’re getting two meals out of it, it’s totally worth it.
My friend had the club sandwich with onion rings, and both looked amazing—she confirmed they tasted just as good. The sandwich was huge and came with a generous pile of onion rings. I had the chili cheese fries (just the appetizer, mind you) for $10, and it came out in a massive 10- to 11-inch bowl—easily enough for a group. I asked for extra onions and got exactly what I wanted. (Don’t worry, I powered through half.)
Parking can be rough—we had to snag a 20-minute spot across the street since the lot was packed at 1:15pm on a weekday—but once inside, food came out fast and hot. The person working the counter was super friendly, too.
I ended up ordering a fried chicken salad for delivery later (I’d spotted someone else’s when I was there), and it was just as fresh, tasty, and oversized as everything else. Another friend of mine swears by their wraps—I’ll try one next time.
Bottom line: Hoagies is delicious, portions are wild, and you’ll leave full and happy. Highly recommend.

We usually go to the Pismo location but didn’t have enough time to get there. It was literally five minutes before closing and they served us here at the SLO location like it was no big deal.
The restaurant is really nice and the staff were all really cool. I especially enjoyed the VW decorations and the little lounge area with games. Very cool.
The food was good. We ordered the loaded clam Chowder and split a Pismo wrap. I think because we were so late, the food wasn’t as fresh as it could be. We needed a side of bbq sauce because the wrap was very dry. Those wraps are very hearty and with a lot of meat, probably compounded the issue.
Even with that minor issue, I fully recommend Hoagies SLO and wouldn’t hesitate to try it again soon.

Found this place while driving down the PCH and it really hit the spot! There’s a lot of seating, nice open windows to get the fresh air, hefty portions, and good food. The sandwiches had great variety, fun toppings, and were deliciously filling. If you’re in the mood for a sandwich, then this is the place to go.

My friend and I usually have lunch here once a month and have never had a complaint until today. My friend ordered the coconut shrimp (which I have had before and love) while the coating was nice and golden brown the shrimp inside was still raw and grey colored. She mentioned it to wait staff and they happily remade shrimp for her which also appeared great on the outside but again was very undercooked inside. She decided to just take it home and cook it further herself.
