Let me start by saying that the food was so delicious and absolutely AMAZING. The place was pretty crowded, so it took them about 15 minutes to seat us. We were sort of annoyed because we saw someone hogging a 4 person table, waiting for his bill. This caused the family in front of us to have to wait to be seated, since they wanted that table, which meant we had to wait too, when we could clearly see a 2-person table right in front of us. When we finally got seated and met our server, she was very kind and pleasant, however she did mess up our order and gave us the wrong type of bread. We spoke to another server, and he was very helpful and sent someone to give us the right type. Again, the food was delicious. We ordered the Nutty Monkey Belgian Waffles and Breakfast Poutine and it was definitely worth the wait. We also got lemonade, and later while looking at our receipt, we realized that our server had charged us a dollar extra for a juice instead. Since we were in a rush, we decided to just leave it. Overall, great food and super kind and helpful servers, but definitely wish they could work on their efficiency and make less errors.

The fried chicken sandwich was battered in-house and perfectly crisp.
The surf’n’surf haddock sandwich and chowder likewise was perfect.
The patio was nice to sit on and enjoy the beautiful weather. The interior is well maintained and stylish.

Great restaurant. Great experience. Stopped for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Young fella working hard, seating people, taking orders, bringing the food and taking the payment. The kitchen staff served some great food. The home made bread was amazing. An overall great experience. Will definitely return and recommend to anyone visiting St. Andrews.

Chef quality presentation with diner quantities! It’s rare to get both. We have eaten here twice and both times were excellent! We had the triple berry French toast, fried chicken waffle Benedict, Corn beef hash and an omlette with the works. Everything was delicious! It’s a family run business and the service was great as well. You have the choice of eating inside or out on the deck. Highly recommend!!!

First thing I noticed when I walked in was the fantastic smell of fresh pancakes, potatoes and bacon that was being cooked. The food was delicious. Typical diner style but with a bit more class. Our waitress was fantastic. She was very polite and helpful for such a young lady. She later told me she was the owners daughter. Five stars for sure!

We were charged extra for coffee because we wanted hot coffee. The waiter chose to pour out our coffee instead of just refilling and charged us for another cup . He had a very bad attitude and we were treated rudely when we disputed the bill with extra coffee charge . Ridiculous .
Other than that all was good. Maybe they need to learn how to keep coffee hot or service better. .

We found this gem summer of ‘21, just as places were reopening after COVID lockdown. The food is fantastic. Fresh ingredients, they even bake their own bread. We eat here multiple times each trip to St Andrews. Never a disappointment. The service is great. It is a family run business and am always happy to support local businesses.
