Always saw this food truck pretty busy so I decided to give it a try got an asada torta and asada taco the food wasn’t the best, Was mid at best. Such great home style cooking. This place really brings you back to real and comfort cooking.
What we purchased
– I ordered the menudo. Whenever your sick, fresh bowl of menudo does the trick. That’s what I got. It was so flavorful. The tripe is so fresh and perfect. It doesn’t have any hominy which is the best because I don’t like it. I’m more of meat and soup kind of person. So this was perfect.
– Birria combo plate! Perfect!! My husband ate this. It was soo much food and also great for left overs.
– Ham and egg taco. It was so nice of the server and the chef in the back to make my toddler ham and egg taco. My toddler devoured it. So he really liked it.
– Side of rice and beans. My toddler loves rice and beans. What can you say he is a growing boy.
– Shrimp taco. I wanted to try this. Don’t judge me. Yes I ate this too. What can you expect. We came here hungry.
– Horchata. Delicious. My toddler drank this whole thing. Hahahaha
Overall a great experience. Love the salsa bar. A hole in a whole vibe but really worth it. Definitely coming back since fall/winter is finally here.

Most defiently going to return to this spot. Family owned and they have great service. Stumbled upon this hidden gem cause it’s hard to find some decent tacos. Read all the reviews and saw the negative ones wanted to try this place out. Glad we came here. Their shrimp taco is fire. And everything here is great. Great portion for what you pay for. Their green salsa and red is pretty amazing. Will be returning here when we have a craving again. Def worth the stop. Go support your local business. Food is good. Carne asada Cali burrito is stuffed with some fries and equal amounts of everything. Their churritos are a great way to end the night. They are filled with filling lord mercy ima go into a coma cause the food is amazing Once again thank you guys so much.

El bandito is the stuff just eat here if you need to satisfy that late night munch stop reading and go order. Better than all the other fast food spots.

I ordered 3 tacos- lengua, asada, and gobernador- and 1 birria quesadilla. The gobernador is a shrimp taco with chipotle sauce and guacamole, and it was by far my favorite!! The chipotle sauce is very rich and creamy, and the shrimps were on the larger size. Portions were really good.
I really love the quality of the meats, for all of my tacos, but was bummed that my birria quesadilla was not marinated in the consomé. Other birria tacos and quesadillas I’ve had at other places have the meat drenching in the consomé, so it did miss out on that added flavor. A simple fix is opening up your quesadilla and pouring your consomé all over before eating, which is a bit added work. Besides that, the cheese, the portion size of meat, and crunchiness of quesadilla were good.
