Love this place. Come here all the time with my daughter and dad. We celebrate my daughters birthday here every year. Service is amazing they are so kind and attentive. The shrimp tempura is THE BEST AROUND, salmon avocado is so delicious, the Snow White roll is my favorite, everything is so fresh. Best way to enjoy is getting the all you can eat! They never disappoint! 🙂

There aren’t a lot of good AYCE sushi spots nowadays, especially ones that serve sashimi. This one is a bit further than we would normally drive for AYCE but since they had sashimi, we were willing to make the trek. Hubby, baby, and I stopped in on a Sunday at around 1:30 and it was pretty busy, with more people coming in after that.
To start, we had the spicy seaweed crab salad. You can skip this. It was basically just a layer of seaweed salad, kani salad (with not much cucumber), and a blob of spicy mayo on top. The miso soup was decent. For rolls, we had a salmon skin roll, yellowtail jalapeno, Ms. Tiger Roll (salmon, tuna, white tuna, avocado, crunchy wrapped with soy nori with spicy mayo), and Beauty and the Beast (spicy tuna topped with tuna, yellowtail, salmon, avocado, with wasabi mayo). Salmon skin roll was meh – kind of fishy. For the yellowtail jalapeno, this was the first time I’ve had it where they smashed up the yellowtail into a paste. I didn’t care for it. The Ms. Tiger Roll wasn’t bad but I think it’s only because I asked for the spicy mayo on the side. Beauty and the Beast was okay – just tasted like any other specialty roll at an AYCE place. We mostly ordered sashimi, which we liked. The white tuna was good, which is my go-to but I was surprised by the yellowtail, which I think I may have liked more than the white tuna. They didn’t have tuna as a sashimi but for the tuna sushi pieces we did get, it was a weird pink/red. I liked that they had masago as sashimi, which was basically just a small plate of masago. We ended up dipping our sushi rolls into it.
For dessert, we had green tea, vanilla, and red bean ice cream, and oreo tempura. I don’t love oreo tempura but it was nice they offered it, since it does take extra work to make.
Overall, it was an okay experience. Not sure if it’s worth the trek, even with sashimi on the menu.

Of the Miga Sushi locations, this is the second one I’ve been to, and it is not lacking in any aspect when compareduu to the other branch, or any other AYCE sushi spot in general. There is a large selection of high quality sushi, sashimi, and nigiri provided, in addition to other appetizers, desserts, and so on. The building was very clean, and the staff were extremely welcoming. Would definitely recommend this spot.

One of those sushi spots you almost don’t want to share because it’s that good, super fresh fish, perfectly balanced rolls, and a consistently great experience every single time; the vibe is relaxed and welcoming, the staff is genuinely friendly without being over the top, and the manager clearly runs the place with heart. Bring your own wine saves the day every time. The service, and the overall energy, easily my favorite sushi spot in town.

Great AYCE spot. It’s small and gets crowded.
Quality is great for all you can eat. Good rice to fish ratio.
I will say we were a group of 8 and ordered a certain number of sashimi and what came out was significantly less, so we had to do a couple of rounds and it took a while to come out.
Service was excellent, servers were kind and checking in to get us whatever else we needed. Management was awesome and attentive. Food was slow to come out, probably because it was busy.
Will definitely be back.

I’ve been in this shopping center so many times, but I never paid much attention to the stores in the corner until recently. I saw that the reviews were decent, so I gave it a try. I didn’t realize this was an all you can eat japanese cuisine and sushi restaurant. I ordered sushi to go. It was pretty good. I do like a couple of other ones in the area better, but it’s close to my family’s house, and the staff was very nice, and the prices were reasonable for Northern NJ. The rolls were a little small but were still good. I would come back and try the all you can eat sushi next time for approximately $32 (I don’t remember the exact price).

Cute little sushi place. Came to try lunch specials, but saw they offer an all you can eat menu, so we opted to try that. Definitely worth it for weekend lunch. Sashimi tasted fresh, and the specialty rolls were tasty and not overly saturated in mayo sauce. Located in a plaza, so plenty of parking.

DO NOT GO HERE. If I could give this place zero stars I would. When we first walked in, they sat us in the back corner of the restaurant with a table barely big enough to sit 2 people. When we ordered, I had to ask for straws 3 times before being given them. (There were barely people in this restaurant. They gave us slow service and said no when we asked to move to a different table). We ordered appetizers first. The appetizers were overcooked and hard to chew on. The octopus was tough, and we broke open a piece of rock shrimp since it was an odd color (green) to find no shrimp inside. No problem. Onto the sushi. We ordered 5 rolls. Tried each one, and each one was inedible. The fish was dull in color, slimey, and tasted and smelled very very fishy. We tried a piece from each roll, looked at our plate, and realized we couldn’t stomach this. The fish literally tasted expired. We called the manager over and explained the situation. At first, he wanted to charge us for leftover sushi. After we argued with him, he decided not to charge us for leftovers but still charge us the all you can eat price. We each had 5 pieces of sushi and we’re still hungry but he kept arguing with us. He started claiming that we don’t sushi (we have gone to Michelin star sushi restaurants and eat sushi about once per week). He was very rude and charged us $70 for 5 pieces of sushi. I threw up everything I ate approximately 15 minutes after leaving. Avoid this place at all costs. This was the worst sushi I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve been to hole in the wall sushi places that still serve quality fish but this place doesn’t even look like they would pass a health inspection. They are so unsanitary. Their ice for drinks comes out of a cooler that looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a decade. Please go to literally any other sushi spot.

One of the best all you can eat sushi restaurants I’ve been to in New Jersey for sure. Their variety of sushi is a little less than that of others, but the quality is outstanding. The rolls are very flavorful, and appetizers are pretty tasty as well. My favorite rolls were definitely the Godzilla and Rainbow rolls. Very well done. Service is also out of this world. The waiters are quick to take any orders and chefs are lightning fast with making the rolls, but quality of food is not sacrificed. This definitely is a close second to Arigato. Very good! Would go back for sure.
